You can always manually change it, go to control panel, then click internet options, then go to the connections tab, then click LAN Settings, Then you will see a place to check "Use a proxy server for your LAN, then once you checked that box, you will insert your ip address you got from the internet, search google for ip list, here is one site http://www.checkedproxylists.com, take any ip and port. Put those in the correct text boxes and click ok. Then open Internet Explorer, it only changed the ip for Internet Explorer "if you want to do this for mozilla click on tools when you have the browser open and you will see kinda what im talking about here or send me a pm and I will walk you through it". Try to go to any web page, if it was successful then you have a working proxy if not, then just find another one and repeat the process, or download Tor or hide my ip platinum. To disable what u just did, then just simply click the auto detect settings check box in the connections tab, and you will back to where u started.
