Accused of fraud help!

This is probably the wrong site but this is the only forum i frequent lol.

To make a long story short i currently work in calgary but have a rental property in ontario. I come to find some individual applied for ontario works and used an acquaintances name as the "landlord" of my house. I dont have a community mailbox so anybody can take my mail.

I cant believe this can happen in the welfare system. Id assume theyd have the tools match that property to my name. Anyways how can i protect myself from this in the future?

Sounds like a dude needed a job and used that empty house as a reference, what's bad about that? Shit I'd write a letter back saying he was an A+ tenant.

Yup he needed the money. I just find it hilarious how you can essentially fabricate a landlords name.


Im guessing all he did was use a friends cell to confirm they were a landlord
