Hey guys, I tried looking this up but all of the threads I came upon were either about Youtube or Facebook...

So, how many Twitter accounts can I verify with 1 phone number?

Well, it seems to be 1 phone number per account.

Here - https://support.twitter.com/groups/...l-phone-number-or-username-is-already-in-use# - it says:

• If your phone number is listed as being in use already on Twitter, see the next section for completing mobile sign up.

And also something here:

So anyway, it seems to be 1 number per account. And if you want to associate the same number with a different account, then you first have to remove the number from your other account...

Yeah, that's an option. However, that's not really something that can be considered a legit thing to do, so I don't want to take such risks, unless I have to.

And another thing, I was reading about someone who did that when they installed Twando or Tweetpressr, and after removing the phone number the app stopped working for that account. So I'd rather not do that...

Well, for one if you get hacked, you can return your account because they'll send you a pin number on your phone and then you'll put it where you have to put it and that will be that.

Now, I don't know how much this affects for Twitter, but for example on Facebook PVA (Phone Verified Accounts) are much safer and can last longer and push things farther than the non-pva accounts can.

I don't know how much it matters particularly for Twitter, but generally speaking, Phone verified accounts are always better than non-pva accounts.

More like 10-11, it's in the Twitter rules, that you can use one phone number with up to 10 accounts (sometimes 11). It's another question how safe it is.

I made this thread a long time ago.

Last I remember, it's 1 number per account. Because if I verify a Twitter account with a phone number, and then I go and verify a different account with the same number, the first account will basically become unverified.

So it's 1 account per number. I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

I have 8 accounts/number without any issue. I have read in twitter terms that you can have 10. But I like to be conservative.
