My twitter page journey!

Hi there people of BHW!

Yeah, you read it right. I'm going to start a Twitter + Instagram journey starting NOW!

*EDIT*
I created a Instagram page 15 minutes ago, followed 100 users from GoPro's page, currently at 35 followers and got about 20 likes on my pictures.
While on twitter, I follow 600+ from GoPro's twitter page, and 0 fav's, retweets or any signs. Seems like instagram is more smooth.
Plus the images I upload looks nicer in a small resolution :creep:.



I'm planning to be in the niche of cool GoPro pictures.
As a 18 y/o student, I do not have hundreds of dollars to invest (yet).

Twitter:
Planning to go for 1 account right now.
Following popular pages followers, fav tweets in hashtags.
Posting 5-6 pictures of awesome GoPro footages, videos, gif's.

Instagram:
1 account here too.
Posted 3 pictures and already its rolling in likes!
Going to post 3-4 pictures a day. Following and liking is done by my fingers.

See how that goes!

GOAL: learn how social media works, although, this is my first journey thread, and my first "Off you go, boy!" work.

Why would you buy a proxy? If you're only using one account there is no reason to use a proxy.

I was going to buy a proxy (was confused) as it was required by the bot.
I now realised that I don't. Thanks for the heads up!

No problem, good luck on your journey and don't give up. I LOVE Twitter but it takes a long time to get the hang of it. Best of luck mate, I'll check back here on your journey every once in awhile.

My suggestion would be, change your niche, its 2015, nobody really watches pictures of landscapes on social media any more, go to something hot and target one thing so you can monetize your followers. What are you going to sell your followers? portraits? . Target one thing like crazy gopro pics so you'll know what your followers like, so in the future you can open an affiliate site and sell selfie sticks or whatever suites your niche. Your current niche isn't profitable for IM.

I agree, but somehow not. There are alot of pages like this, with 2M followers. Although, it is sure a pain to monetize!

Started up my new twitter page in the GoPro niche.

Posted 3 pictures, currently following ~300 followers of GoPro's twitter page. Going to unfollow about 75% of them tomorrow night.
Then repeat that. Once I hit 300 followers, I'm going to start doing a small amount of retweets and fav's so my posts look somewhat popular.

Any other way to gain followers?

Use hashtags and say something like "Tag 2 friends who would never do this" or anything else that fits the theme.

Okay so I've posted 6 pictures to my Instagram page, got me a shoutout in the same niche (payed 5$ for a useless shoutout who gave me like 5-10 followers).
Although, my fake followers is rolling in. Not sure if it was a good buy though. Cheap, but if I got about 2k followers and only about 50 of them is real, then I won't get any likes/comments.

I like and comment photos in the hashtag I use, it's very popular!
Can't follow more people until tonight, I followed to many at the start.

Hmm... what's next?

UPDATE 1.3
Okay so I registered on Instagress, had it up and running for 3h now. It's commenting and liking pictures (limited to a 300 a day) in the #GoPro hashtag.
Currently getting my fake followers, pretty lame and I regret it actually. It's hard to keep track of the real followers.
But yeah, once I get my 2k followers, I'll manage to take control of the real followers. Plus it looks nice!

Done today:
- Uploaded 8 pictures today.
- Liked 150 pictures in my hashtag.
- Commented 50 pictures, going for 100 more today.

Any suggestions, please tell!
