My main thing to figure out right now is why 90% of my submission attempts show:

14:38:45: [-] 01/59 download failed (Return: -, SockError: Connection timed out)

I've been messing with thread count to no avail. Even if I set threads to 1 it goes slow as molasses but still gets that error :/

Does GSA have any form of API for automation? Eg tell it programmatically to focus on building links to a new website. Does it store these settings in flat files/sql lite I could manipulate?

There is no API for automation but it does use a lot of files that can be edited to change settings/project data.

It can use built in disposable emails, but for best success rate you should use a better email provider. You can get email accounts from places like http://admin.banditim.com/ or http://buybulkaccount.com/ which is usually around 1,000 accounts for $10-$15 and should last a long time. Also, you can create your own catchall email if you have a hosting that allows it or use a catchall email service like spartan catchall emails.

There are a ton of variables when it comes to ranking, but I don't know anything about your campaign. Simply blasting 8,000 links to your site doesn't say too much. How long ago did you build the the links? Are they indexed? On-page SEO good? etc.

Email accounts, proxies and captchas are most important here but it also depends on the quality of the list you're using. I'm not sure if you're using the built in scraper or verified lists to build the links. You can also try opening that project up, right click in the platform selection window (where you select platforms) and choose "uncheck engines based on performance". That way it will spend time building links with the engines that are working the best and it won't waste time on the engines that don't yield as many results.

Ya, if it can open in Firefox and not in IE, it sounds like a browser issue with IE, although I'm not sure exactly what's causing it.
