How many websites do you own?

I am slowly heading forward in niche sites and it's getting really messed up handling all the hosting, domains and so on. How do you guys manage it? I am also curious to know how many websites do you own in total? Don't include the pbn domains.

The numbers of domains are just increasing week by week in my inventory

The number of sites I own fluctuates a lot. Right now I only have like 7 or 8 active. The way to keep them all straight is to make an excel sheet where you can note all the domains and hosting accounts and passwords, etc. It makes it easy to remember so that you can go back and hit each site everytime you want to update.

At the moment, I only own about 5 websites. However, they are on and off since I have school.

At the moment I got 4 active websites. One of them real big. I am not a big fan of owning 10's or 100's of sites. Just own a few sites and make them real big.

If all of your sites are in WP use managewp.com for managing them.

Good thread. I have 2 websites and about 10 domains registered because originally I planned on launching 8 sites. However I'm going to focus on 3 or 4 sites maximum. Because yes it takes time to do things the right way.

You can now use the central site management in new wordpress jetpack plugin. You can manage all your wordpress blogs from wordpress.com account.

I own 4 domains, but only using 1 atm. At and of the month I'm planning on owning 6 domains and using all 6 domains.

3 will be white hat and 3 will be blackhat.

Used to have around 1500 and found them hard to manage. Down to 150 at this time and hope to reduce this number to less than 80 this year.

Lol, from 1500 to 150. All 1500 were up and running or just the domains?

Yes, all were running. EMDs with local directories. They received between 200 and 10k hits a day each from google just for being EMDs. Google was awesome back in the day. Took 2 hours per domain to get it going.

I consider myself a domain hoarder, but right now I've got 2 sites up and running, and a few sites with landing pages and in the works (kinda).
