Using Snapchat for promoting

I recently started a snapchat and it is gain pretty fast in the first day. I was wondering how could I adverstise on snapchat, will it be hard? And what percentage of followers actaully engage on what I'm advertising /promoting.

Definitely depends on the niche in which you choose. If you're just doing a personal one, I'm not sure how much engagement you will get. But if say you have a sexy girl snapchat you'll probably get more. Unfortunately sex sells...

About 1%-5% of my people who viewed my pic actually went to the website that was mentioned on the snapchat text. I mean, that's pretty good considering the link is not clickable (which means they need to manually type it in) and the pic itself only lasts for 24 hours.

I guess it really depends on the niche. If there are many people doing the same type of promotion as you, then it lowers the amount of ppl who will actually visit your site.

That's very good, thanks for sharing. I've been giving Snapchat some thought for a couple of projects so it's good to know that decent numbers are possible.

I had around a 1-5% on mine, but only 1 conversion for my niche, it was pretty poorly done, but the ctr was about the same as above.
