Cool, inexpensive idea for limitless, unique content?

Does anyone have experience using Dragon naturally speaking (or similar dictation software) to write their own content?

It seems like, assuming you were knowledgeable or had an opinion, that you could virtually create a limitless supply of content great for any website or content submission for contextual link building?

Does anyone have ideas, thoughts?

You still need to have the content in your head to produce it. Dragon just lets you speak the words instead of typing them. But if you know a lot about a certain topic then yes I think you could pump out a lot of content. A lot of people stumble, say partial words, say "like" etc. when they speak and don't realize it until they use a speech to text program so you might have to take a couple days to train yourself to speak properly when you're making content.

Might be a good way to "borrow" people's content though. You could read it off the screen and change it into your own words as you go. Might be worth a try.

Being overly conversation is a very good point to consider. I definitely can get nervous and say "like", "um", and "ok".

You mentioned borrowing content. I too have considered this concept where you can verbally spin any article you come across to make it your own.

If you're very knowledgeable in a particular field or stream then yes, of course you can produce endless amounts of content. It might take some time to get in the rhythm, but with practice, you can churn out huge amounts of content in very little time.

I do the same for my sites. I write a lot of my content straight off the bat but I quite often 'repurpose' or 'reimagine' other people's content. By the time I have finished with it,it bears little resemblance to the original piece, passes copyscape easily, reads very well (unlike shitty spinners) and is structured correctly. Quite often,my work is often better than the original,IMHO.

I have used DNS for over 3-4 years when I was wordked as a content writer. It was quite accurate even in the beginning stages and I was using the normal (nothing fancy or hi-tech) and inexpensive headphones with an attached microphone. The only problem was my room has a big window on the road side and the disturbances caused some problem, but I began closing the window while the dictating session was on (may be only a couple of hours normally with lots of pauses and stoppages on the days I worked.) . It really saved a lot of time, but you should have clear thoughts about the topic and a clear voice if you wish to use the DNS. A few pauses were ok when I used it... I think that it took only about 5 minutes, max., for completing a 500-words typical article with the DNS.

What do you do when manually spinning article? Just changing the synonyms and some words to make it unique?

Instead of using Dragon, you can simply take your android phone (mine is nexus 5) open some note app, hit to type and then the microphone icon on the keyboard. Start talking and watch it note everything. Google voice typing is currently at very advanced stages. It also supports different languages.

I look at a sentence like this "The tall man walked into the bar and ordered a beer for himself and a glass of wine for his wife" and have a quick think about it before I write something like "A man and his female partner stepped out of the taxi and walked into the pub. He was very tall so he had to stoop slightly to get through the door. He ordered a large glass of Chardonnay for her and a pint of lager for himself"

Of course,this is only an example but you get the idea.

I also take the advice of BassTrackerBoats when thinking of my connected phrases or LSI as it is termed. Greg (Mr BTB) suggests choosing your word or words and then start to write down all the associated phrases or words that come into your head - way before you even get near a PC.

The best content or keyword advice you could ever have. Think as a human,not a machine.

So,taking that sentence above,I would take the keywords from it such as beer,wine,bar,etc and write down my associated keywords. Then I would place 'connected' words in such as Chardonnay,lager and pub in the text as that is what G would expect to see.

Thanks this is gold For me! Mainly because im looking for approval that i can do manual rewrite my self so i dont have to spend money in buying rewritters app. Ill just have to use my head to produce nice spin like your example above, because what im doing now is just replacing the word of its synonym and thats it haha! You know when I wrote this post, I knew I wasn't being an innovator. I just want to get some ideas about using this.

HOWEVER, your advice at using Google speech recognition instead of buying $150 software is worth it's weight in gold. Thank you for sharing such a simple, alternative! I will implement this immediately!

I use Dragon more for personal/informal blog posts & for initial drafts. Regardless of any speech to text program, you'll still need to take time to edit it, especially if you're focusing on SEO
