I read through a couple threads regarding redirects, but what I don't understand is how penalties are passed through redirects.
Lets say for example you have 5 domains redirected to 1 site, but these 5 domains were penalized when dropped. Eventually, this penalty will pass onto your 1 site and you'll just simply scrap the site and repeat the process. Now, you have 6 penalized domains redirected to 1 site, and then you just simply rinse and repeat.
What I'm wondering is, what if all of these 5 redirected domains were clean and were not previously penalized? I'm sure this technique is still considered "blackhat", so would this not matter? Would your 1 site that all the domains were pointed to still be eventually penalized regardless of whether or not your redirected domains were penalized previously?
