Rank #9 on Yahoo. 2 Weeks only should I be happy?

Cool so I am right now #9 on Yahoo which actually feels pretty good. I feel like it's a small little victory, none the less definitely motivates me now!

DEFINITELY not Google but should I be a little excited?

Plus, I've only been working on the site for 2 weeks. Good/Bad?

EDIT: Also looks like I'm #11 on Bing! Google is still 500+ from Long Tail Pro, lol. Think I will start climbing G in the next couple of weeks.

Also, looks like Yahoo and Bing are cached pages with old urls. How long does it typically take for them to update the new ones?

Without wishing to piss on your bonfire, I wouldn't get too excited.
I have pages that are ranked on page 1 of Yahoo and Bing and in fact 3 of these pages are no.1 and yet on G these same pages are on page 5. Also, they bring in virtually no traffic which to me means no leads. No leads = no money!
Gi is still where it's at and I don't see that changing for a long time, even with the recent Mozilla announcements about their search engine of choice.

I wouldn't be too happy, because depending on your niche most of your customers could be searching on google. BUT if you made a shit load of money from yahoo and bing - then fuck Google

I am sure you will get there if you apply the same hard work to your G efforts as you have Y&B.

Believe no hard work was put into Y! or Bing, lol just saw where I was at when doing the LTP search.

bing and yahoo can bring in some serious bank depending on your keywords. its very easy to rank that quick on bing and yahoo

You have every right to be happy. An achievement is an achievement. The only thing being, you need to focus more upon Google.

Google is my main priority. This being my first site and actually seeing progress helps the NEWBS ;P

I'll definitely update once my G rank is within the first 5 pages... Got a long way to go lol

Just difficult to get backlinks now since directories don't provide much leverage anymore, blog posts, etc.

Seems it's very difficult to get backlinks now adays.
