What is a perfect Pinterest set-up?

Hi Yall,

I never used Pinterest before but i think i am going to like it.

The thing about Pinterest i like the most is that you can just post links without any trouble.

Yet i have my questions. I did read some stuff here but hey, it's a forum and discussing about something seems a lot better if you ask me.

So the main question is: What is a perfect Pinterest set-up?

I am still very new to Pinterest as stated above but i am not sure how the search engine works.
I did find out that hashtags isn't the way to go.. Right?

Is it any use to create boards and just pin posts searched on hashtags?
As for example i take cars.
1. I create a board "Cars"
2. I search for: Cars , Hotrods, Classic cars Etc.
3. I pin a shitload of posts to my own board.
4. .. Any good text to post here? Should i post nice comments here, put no text in or just hashtag the shit out of it?
5. Any use or useless?

Also, is it better to pin posts from other people or should i download the images and upload them myself?

I guess the follow / comment / like / repin method would be usefull in Pinterest. But if this is the way to go, should i start empty? Should i start with some fully boards already?
And those full boards can those just be massive scraped?

I would love some clarification on how Pinterest works.

If any one can help me further i would love it!

Reason of all these questions is the fact that i created a bot that can create a board and fill it with 100's of pins within minutes but im really not sure if this is the way to go...

P.s. before i trigger some aggro, i am not asking for methods, i am asking what a perfect Pinterest account for internet marketing would look like and what the best way is to reach that.
Yet every tip is welcome ofcourse.

I've started working myself on pinterest just recently aswell. And what I've realized is that it's pretty much all about how many pins you have. The more pins you have the more nice your profile would look and the more followers you'll get. That's my take on it. Plus you don't really want to create a board related to cars on there Since most of the audience are women.

P.S Bro could you share that bot you made? I think I might find some good use for it.

Well if you like i could share you the bot but it isn't really made for public. Not that i don't want to share it but most of it is hard-coded so it isn't just a run and gun bot.
I will actually re-program my bot to some functions that are more usefull. After that ill take a look if i can make it like this that other people can just fire it up and off we go.

But as you stated you think the way to start a account, let's say from fresh, you just create niche related boards, fill em up to about 500-600 pins before starting commenting, liking, repinnen and that kind of stuff?

Yes. I think it would be best if you had around 1500 pins on your board and then you start following liking and commenting. But as i said, I'm just starting out myself and this is what I've inferred. The more the pins the better.

Ok maybe i am going to fast ( if you have read this post before i did edit it ).

I think i am going to stick to the "Normal user" look.

Just get some niches that people like.

I will create boards like fashion, shoes, jewelery, boats, whatever.

I will take a normal profile pick like i am a person.

I will fill up my boards.

I will get followers.

Will post links after i have a nice base of followers.

There are 2 general types of profiles -- 1) business and 2) regular user.

Business profiles are more focused around its particular niche. Intent is to push a brand. Think authority site.

Regular profiles can be focused or very diverse. When making a regular account, give it a personality of a woman, i.e. does she like to cook, what kind of clothes she wears, does she have kids, is she conscious about her weight, etc. Hence, a woman who's about to get married will have plenty of boards around wedding items/resources and a pregnant woman will have plenty of pins around pre-natal care, baby care, etc.

One of the best workable setup is to have a nice business profile around your money site, supported by various regular profiles that repins from your business profile. Just keep in mind that Pinterest and its loyal community is actively clamping down on spammers.

Well if i do my job right im not a spammer . Even though it is all about earning having a great account would actually be intresting for people.
I guess those are the best accounts.. The accounts people actually like to look at but yet it is for internet marketing.

Alright, I've managed to grow new accounts with 150-200 pins to about 1000 followers within a day. Don't think too much about it, find some natural looking pinterest accounts and copy their board ideas (look for their most repinned pins and pin those in similar boards) Make 5-8 boards with 30-50 pins and you're ready to go, you don't need thousands of pins BELIEVE me. I made 1200 dollars so far this month on pinterest and my primary account has 13,000 followers and around 2000 pins total and is 6-7 months old.

Thats why i love Pinterest already. I hear a a lot of nice $$ earned fast without a lot of work.

I did the same yesterday. I did not copy boards but i took the niches though. Thanks for the tip.

Anyways may i ask what kind of method you use to make the profit? PPD? Affiliate? Clickbank? CPA? Blogs?

there are plenty of helpful guides and journeys on here. I would recommend you read through a couple of them. The journeys are really interesting because you can really see what people are actually doing and if it is working for them.

I have not been using too much of Pinterest, but soon I will start marketing a fairly female oriented niche and will have to learn some more too.

How the puck did you do that? im doing pinterest for about 5 months and i have 5 accounts and i just have 3000+ followers, and i just earned $70 for the last 5 months! What! Soooo down right now.

If you want to grow a account really fast here you go.

My theory and make sense to me.

Firstly you need to go to the 10 most popular pin accounts there always at the top as you all no.

you know need to write down all the titles of the boards of the 10 top accounts and create them, know you need to add pins to the boards randomly from the 10 most popular pins in the niche the boards where created for.

watch your account grow fast.

that it that easy really you get loads of followers thinking your part of the main top pins on the website.

if you need to upload any pictures just download the most popular ones and upload them again that easy.
