*HELP* will transferring my subdomain Shared server site to VPS harm my SEO?

My site is just a subdomain (i have around 10 sites that are all subdomains) of one site. It ranks very well in Google, but i want to start linking the sites together - I was told not to do this if they are all sub-domains sharing the one domain name, on a shared server.

So i have just coughed up a fair bit of money to seperate my main site for a year to a VPS and account of its own.

my question, in the migration of this... is there a chance I will lose SERPS?

No, you wouldn't lose any rankings if you move the site(no matter if it's domain or sub-domain) with zero downtime but make sure your page load speed doesn't increase after the move.

It should be, If you know how to fine-tune the server. I don't intend to sell anything but if you want, I can help move your sites with zero downtime as a thanksgiving for this christmas.
