Got my domain, it's nothing out of this world but it's clean and has real stats and a good history. The domain itself is really good and it has given me some ideas for some local websites. (a very profitable niche with low comp )
It's stats are: MozRank: 1.86, DA 13, PA 27, TF 5, CF 7 and it has 23 backlinks coming from 10 domains. Not too many, but definetly clean and backlinks are highly related to the website. Got my review copy and it looks much better than I expected. Domain is clean, wasn't used for PBN or other purposes, no spammy backlinks, nothing that could make me refuse it, really. It has some real nice natural authority links which are of course do-follow. Some of the domains linking to it are: npr.org, upi.com, examiner.com, patch.com, abc2news.com, newsnet5.com, and other authority sites worth mentioning. In my experience with this kind of domains anything with more than 100 referring domains is generally spammy. I'd suggest to head over to Godaddy auctions for clean domains with 100+ referring domains, though you'll end up paying a few hundreds per domain.

The minimum of referring domains is 10, but they rarely touch that number. Average number ranges from 20 to 40.

I prefer to leave to my customers the possibility to register their domains wherever they like, with or without whois privacy. Aside from that, I wouldn't profit more as I'd just add the reg-fee to the price of the domains.
