It has been more than six months and still now my site did not get indexed.I did link pyramid just this month ,even after that no results. What to do?

You've been a member here since March of 2009 and you're asking for help on this issue?

Well, it takes more than building a link pyramid to get a website to rank. Try doing The following:

  • Use the "Fetch as Google" function in Google Webmaster Tools (GMT). I did this when one of my sites wasn't ranking and my pages were indexed after a couple of weeks.
  • Check your internal link structure. If Google can't find the page, it's not going to index it.
  • Make sure your website hasn't received a manual penalty by checking GMT.
  • Target less competitive keywords.

I would normally tell you to build higher quality do-follow backlinks, but this is in the White Hat SEO section and building backlinks which could affect rankings are considered part of a link scheme.

Sorry i have been member of this forum from 2009 but in between i got some break in my online work due to family work.So i am unaware of the latest techniques .

You need to index your site first and add good content before you get started with link building. Fetch and submit to index on google webmasters to force your site to be indexed. If it fails to index, then your domain may have been deindexed via a penalty.

No worries. Also, welcome back to Black Hat World!

Add more content to the website, Submit your website on google crawling and indexing. If none work try to delete if you have got spammy links back to your domain.

If your site isn't indexed after 6 months then you accidentally bought a penalized domain. It's impossible not to be indexed after a couple of months and even as little as one link back.
