Is this considered as "aggresive unfollow"?

Hey guys. We all know that twitter considers aggresive follow/unfollow when you follow a lot of people and when they follow you back you start unfollowing.

So twitter doesn't like when you unfollow people that is following you just to change the follow/unfollow ratio, that's clear as water.

Now my question is:

Is twitter okay with unfollowing ALL the people who is not following you?

Between yesterday and today i followed, lets say, 2k people. Only 500 followed back. I have one of those apps that tells you how many people isn't following you from the people you followed.

If i unfollow 1500 people at once, ALL PEOPLE THAT NEVER FOLLOWED BACK, is it still considered as aggresive unfollow?

Thank you for your time!

Same here. I've unfollowed *everyone* in one account and nothing happened, I didn't even know this was a thing.

I have unfollowed way more than that and nothing has happened to me... even on newer accounts.

Actually guys, it is. I've seen accounts banned for aggresive following/unfollowing, it is in their ToS. So i was wondering if this still applied with people that never followed you back.

However, if you have done it that way , unfollowing EVERYONE (including people that actually followed back) and nothing happened, i will give it a shot.

Any free tool that you could recommend for this task?

try manageflitter free plan, max 200 unfollow/day though, but if you aren't in a hurry, maybe it's better to unfollow just this many people daily
if no other free tool can be found, i'm pretty sure, you can record a macro with iMacros, maybe you can find a working macro even here

I've gotten a few warnings for "Aggressive Following/Unfollowing" on a couple of new accounts. I've never had any issues on my old account though.

The thing is i'm planning to reach the daily limit for following, which is 1k per day. I'm pretty sure that more than 200 people will not follow me so 200 unfollows per day wouldn't be enough. I'll keep searching, last thing i want to do is invest on a bot, atleast for now..

How many people did you try to unfollow at once? And, were this people following you or they were people that never followed back?

If they were followers of yours, how much did you wait to unfollow them after they followed you back?

Sorry for many questions but i think that would clear my doubts.

My account is many months old so i guess it shouldn't be a problem

Thank you for your time everyone

Doing it so soon will get you banned, wait a week. Never unfollow and follow or vice versa on the same day

yes that is considered agressive unfollowing.. ive done that with my bot onetime and it almost suspended my account. careful man!

I haven't checked their terms in a while, but as far as I'm aware there has never been such a thing as aggressive unfollowing. There is aggressive following of course, and there's also follower churn - the act of following then unfollowing those that don't follow back. Just the other day I unfollowed 18k over the course of 24 hours with no problems.

Personally I think it's best to stay away from the 1k limit as doing this daily is bound to set off alarm bells, but I have several accounts that follow 900 daily & unfollow all that haven't followed back in three days. To keep things looking natural I also unfollow 10 accounts that do follow me back each day, have been doing this for over a year with no problems.

it really depends on the activity of your account, age, ratio etc..

I think as long your account is aged and active you are ok. I have unfollowed 1800 in a day, and then follow like 300-500 premium follows. Wait until I am around 2000 unfollowers again do the same, rinse and repeat. You just want to be weary of the 1k limit of following. I have heard mixed results of people capping it every day and being fine, and others not so much. But aggressive unfollowing? I think they are less concerned.

With new accounts 300 follow or 300 unfollow a day..with 2 month or older accounts I follow 800 or unfollow 800 a day.Never once been suspended or had any warnings.

Oh I forgot, I made a brand new account like a year ago, and logged in by accident and mass followed. It stopped me at 517 and said i had a 24 hour for aggressive following, so there is another example I guess.

Wow 2k followed and 500 followed back. When i follow 2k i get 100 follow backs.

Wow really? What are you using to follow? Maybe you are grabbing a lot of inactives. I was going to say that's about right. If I follow 1800 about 500-700 follow back.

What markets are you in?

Any good twitter bot recommendations guys?
