Hi.

I was hoping that someone here with experience in ranking new domains for easy and very easy keywords that have low search results and under 100 searches each month to the first page and to the first spot.

Is there maybe a service offered here on bhw that could be a good starting point you can suggest. I can handle the on-page seo but I would rather pay for the link building.

Thanks in advance!

I would suggest just adding content in the beginning. With hardly any search volume you're likely to rank based on the on-page factors. Is the domain an EMD or partial match?

EMD most of the time but when not available I would use partial match.

I was wondering if it would make a difference if the hosting for the domain
would be hosted on a local ip address? or at least in the same state?

it all depends because even though the search volume might be low it doesn't mean that the competition will be low also. There are low volume keywords that have high competition. The best thing for you to do is grab a trial of Seomoz (just do a quick search on Google for 120 or 90 day trial of seomoz) and use their keyword ranking tool, this tool will tell you how hard it is to rank for any given keyword. It will also show whos ranking and good intel on them.

You can also do manual intel on them by searching on Google and then using opensiteexplorer, majesticseo, ahref, and any PR checking tool to see their backlinks. Doing all this first will save you tons of headache because you will know what kind of links and how many you will need in order to out rank them.

As far as services go i have used seopez with success, but you must order the 20+ dollar package with manual links and send them your articles (i use articlerat for articles) and depending on your keyword it will take a couple packages to start seeing rankings. You can do it yourself using monthly softwares but theres a lot of cost associated with them.

Your own PBN would help, theres plenty of information on BHW on PBNs. If you want the free method then go with web 2.0s and blog commenting. It will take longer but its free!

I've already done all the research on the keywords and they are easy to rank... most of the time the top spot is EMD or has one of the keywords in the domain, the PR never goes over 2, PA and DA is around 20 and these pages have average 50 backlinks.

I can handle the on-page seo myself and I suppose I could do some reverse SEO backlinking based on the backlings the top 10 results have and try to see if I can't get my backlink in there. Get 10 well written articles based on the keyword and post one each week. Then start a google alert for the keyword to see if anything pops up where I could get my link in.

Maybe everything I have mention here above would be enough but I don't know the average time it takes a new domain to rank for these keywords and in a perfect world I would like to skip doing the work myself and see quick results ;)

If you don't rank off the bat usually all it would take is a few links at most. They wouldn't even have to be amazing.

if you want quick results then use seopez here on BHW just remember to buy one of the manual created link packages and use your own articles. Your anchor will matter the most (use a mix of brand, longtail keywords, url and random). Probably two or three packges (at around 20 dollars a piece) will get you rank. If you want to rank faster then when they email you the finished links just use any link indexer and index them for faster results (i have used backlinksindexer and instantlinkindexer with success).

For genuinely easy keywords, you don't need to build backlinks specifically to that page. If you focus on building up your DA with good strong links and some social media activity, you will rank highly almost on autopilot. You may need a little nudge here and there in which case a web 2.0 would be good, but a lot of time it wont be necessary. Focus on building your site the right way and the rest will take care of itself.

I would also recommend to focus on building a site. If you overshoot on seo easy terms can be the hardest to rank once your inside spam territory.

I've done that with only using Good On Page Optimization and without any backlink pointing to the domain but it'll work at the beginning and later you'll need backlinks to keep the ranking position.
