What is that court request? I'm sorry im not into laws much but wanna know before i step onto your host. Does that means you will have to reveal the owner and will be there consequences for him? Or you will just shutdown his site and thats all? Did you received any court request till now? How they sent this?.. Thanks and sorry.

What I meant is, that we would only comply with any official requests coming from a court. For example, if a company called us and asked to shut down site X, we would ignore them. They would then need to go to a court, prove to it why they believe the site needs to be shut down, and only if the court decides in their favour and sends a formal request to us, we would suspend the account. Personal information would not be given out to anyone, and we encourage people to register with us using fake details, if they are concerned about that.

To this day, we have not received any such request. Normally, they would be delivered on paper by snail mail.

To sum it up:
Sites do not get suspended without a formal, written request from a court.
Personal information is safe and is not passed to anyone under any circumstances.
You can use fake personal information when signing up.
