I am somehow the director of everything online for a charity I am currently paid zero because it is up to me to make something of our $10,000 Google Ad Word Grant per Mth. I somewhat know what I am doing I think, But need help in almost every aspect of this. Let me know if you can be of any help.

Mentoring is not allowed here but you could treat this whole forum as a mentor. There's a lot of information for you to read here and a lot of brains to answer any queries. Good luck mate !

Also since you mentioned the 10 k figure, say RIP to your Inbox.

I know what I would do - create one of those heart wrenching adverts in a short form, and get it to be displayed as youtube adverts.

Probably work well, maybe target niches that people who earn more money would be in.

Are you paid on clicks, or donations made via visitors from ads?

I somewhat know what I am doing.
I need help with every aspect.

So in that case, you don't know what you are doing at all!

I guess roughly you'll want to be doing as follows:

1.Keyword research
Research all of the keywords you want to advertise under. BTB has a great guide for doing this here. The guide is built for authority site builds, but you can apply most of it to your task. You will be focusing more on CPC I would have thought - and looking for some low CPC terms that are valuable to you.

2.Landing pages
Once you have your list of keywords to target, you need to group them by landing page - you need the most appropriate page for each keyword ideally. As I understand with adwords, how targeted the landing page is goes towards determining your position in the results.
Also, the more targeted the landing page is, the more likely the user is to convert.

3.Advertising text
Next step will be the text that makes up the adwords ad for each keyword/keyword group. again this is very important as it will denote how well your adverts convert into clicks.
With this step I would suggest that you have several ads for each group, that way you can see which versions of the ad perform best.

4.Split testing
I think Google adwords ads automatically rotate and you can configure them so that the best performing ads are used more often.
If you have put enough effort into everything else then you should have a nice bank of ads to test and you should begin to see which ads perform better than others.
With that info you can optimize and repeat.
