How long should you wait before adding a payment method to a new Facebook Account?

Hey guys,

I recently created a new facebook profile and created a fan page. I tried to run an ad the same day I created the page and it got flagged saying there was unusual activity and asked me to verify my identity?

The credit card I used matched the name on the profile and was located in the same city and everything. I see people often looking for "aged" facebook accounts - is there a certain amount of time you should wait before trying to run an add? I am trying to figure this whole Facebook puzzle out and it has me baffled.

Thanks for the feedback IamNRE - when you say "create an account" - do you mean before trying to run an ad? Could you possibly explain what you mean by that?

Yes, I mean before you turn your normal account into a advertising account/ i.e make your first ad.

Create your first ad for page likes . run for 2-3 days with lower budget then wait for first deduction of payment from your card . after that you can use the account for your stuff
