I was scrolling through the Assassin's Creed Facebook page, trying to send them a message about their games, when I noticed something I haven't seen before.

After clicking the 3 dot menu button, I saw a link which said "Switch Region"

It seems that they have specific content for each region, since when i choose France, it displays the content in French, even tho it's the same page.

I see that this feature is not available on all pages, for example the IFLS page doesn't have it even tho it has over 19m likes.

Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? How does one enable and make use of such a feature?

WOW this is new, What is the location of your Facebook account?

I don't think there is anything special here. That game is an american game. I take it that you are from a different country? Some pages post to certain countries like in Spanish and etc.. IDK just my thought

Not Visible in All Pages So if you have accounts posting content for different regions then you can switch regions

You can select posts to be visible in certain countries/cities/etc. when posting as a page. Nothing new here.

It doesn't have anything to do with the region I'm accessing the page from.
I went through setting of one of my facebook pages and found out that they've added the toption of "Targeting and Privacy for Posts.

When you enable that it gives you the ability to choose a specific audience group that will view your post.
I'm curious how this will effect the percentage of the page users that will actually see the content.

I'll make a few tests and come back with what I've learned.

As you can see there is also the option to target your fan base no only by location, but also by gender, relationship status, educational status, interested in, age and Language!

This is absolutely incredible!
