I have 100 accounts with each on it's own private proxy and being updated everyday with a bit of my own content and lots of reblogs. The updates are done with a bot.

Months go by and all is well.

Yesterday 6 blogs deleted and today another 6.

I shut my bot down and started to look for patterns.

What I found was that the blogs that were shut down all had similar proxy addresses. For example:

3 blogs had:
122.131.65.114
122.131.65.288
122.131.65.744

Another 3 had:
58.254.334.955
58.254.334.547
58.254.334.214

These are examples (not real ip addresses) but you get the picture.

Has this happened to anyone?

Any advice?

I asked my proxy provider to supply me with new proxies and to have them all be different from each other.

Anything anyone can offer is appreciated.

Thanks

SK

I have same problem, tumblr ban blogs with similar proxies - ip ranges. Lost many accounts this way in past few months(10-20) but today it was biggest banhamer for me i lost 3/4 of me blogs.
I have 400 proxies (4x100 proxies from diferent providers) and use 3 acc per proxy = 1200 accs boom today only 300 working.
Advice - got to smaler number of proxies with many diferent ip ranges. (Quality over quantity)

This. Think of how you can expand several blogs and instead of making tons of smaller ones. It's easier to keep it organised, have higher quality and it will reduce the costs.

Hi,

With automation I can grow blogs exactly how I want them to be grown. The issue is not about quality but about having enough 'vasty' different IP addresses.

When you say this, do you mean forget about bots and proxies or just use fewer?

If so do you have any pointers on what you are hinting at or can you point me to any BHW thread that talks about this type of tumblr management?

Thanks
