Is anyone on Elance?

I have no luck with Elance. oDesk is well organized and user friendly.
I am just getting started with elance. I am an experienced copywriter and content marketer so have had client's pages under me before. So I am just happening to get my thing started now. Would love to interact with all you elance users and anyone who needs any help. I could always use your guidance and support as well.

awesome. I just made a profile last week. So far, three jobsi am on elance and one time hired too
! Though the only client who decided to rate me said she loved my work and will give me a great rating. Apparently great is 4.4 for her lol so yeah that sort of set me back from my 5 stars !Elance or the people in elance are fake and scam.
I did first project and paid thru elance after payment made the following day my website was lock down and this guy pretend to ask hows everything going on, so obiviously he is conning us.
so we went to new elancer the same thing happen.
fyi somehow all the elance are related. The will know when is ur project down and contact u.
so i wasted alot of money twice. Now i dont even have a website.

Elance is a good platform, but creates frustrations for clients and developers in that Elance has a somewhat biased method for clients to approve work. It may be worthwhile to check out a company called 'Developer Discovery'. They have actual project managers that will work with both you and the developers to ensure the final product is up to par.
