$100/Day with Pinterest/FB + Amazon

Congrats on success tinle!

I'd like to clarify about your mini social site and e-commerce site. How exactly do you drive traffic from one to another?

Easy as hell! Just blast promote the ecommerce on the social site. I even put a big fat SHOP button on the main menu which links directly to my store. Moreover, in each voting thread, I will suggest visitors that they can get what they like from my store. Kaching! Ofcourse it doesn't end right there or I'll never earn that much, but I can't betray myself to reveal it here.

Congrats on success tinle!

And another thing, when they are buying from your e-commerce site, all the payments go through your own website, without redirecting them to Amazon site?

Not many people know about Amazon Advertising API I suppose. Once they buy stuff from my store, the products will be added directly to Amazon's cart via AWS interface. I don't use links. API gives you 90 days cookie

Me included. Is it hard to implement? Currently using a variant of a Woocommerce enabled theme.
Any advice you can offer on here or elsewhere would be greatly appreciated.

OP -

Great thread and the Amazon Advertising API is an A+ idea. So your mini-social and your ecommerce sites are 2 different sites with different URLs right? Just clarifying that. My real question is, what do you mean by a "voting site?" I saw you use that term earlier but I'm unclear on what you mean by it.

Yea 2 different sites, but rolling together. Now I know why I'm getting so amazing results, because no one knows what I'm doing :D. Here's the site that I got the "voting" idea from, not new though: http://www.ranker.com/

Well that was damn straight forward if you a familiar with the platforms, reminded me of the Facebook API days.
My API is done and fully integrated within the site from front to back + 90 day cookie!

Thanks for the help man! Will let you know how it goes

Congratulations on your success!
It always makes me happy to see other people succeed. :)

Keep up the work my man!

any chance you would show me your social site or is that asking too much?

Tinle I'm sure is not going to reveal his sites or Niche and quite rightly, by all means drop some questions in here mate and I'm sure Tinle or others can offer up advice and get productive discussion flowing around this to help you along. Help is all around on BHW but just be sure to take the right approach.

yeah i thought so but no harm in asking, i guess my really question is how he went about setting up the social site, was it a wordpress site and if so what plug in did he use. i got 3 ninja pinners 1 tumblrninja 1 ninjagram and my own twitter bot all going at once but have no had much luck with anything other than adsense so far but this sounds like a good plan so thanks to Tinle for sharing it.

Hey man, if it was me I would use Wordpress mainly because It would be a hell of a lot easier to mould the theme to suit your niche.

Looking at the Ranker site Tinle mentioned previously and also one of the bigger ones like Reddit you will notice the community is in no way targeted and driven to make purchases on a whole, you will have to figure out using the knowledge of your niche how to keep peoples mind sets in buyer mode from start to finish, or if you are using adsense as your main income then how to keep them wanting more niche related material thus making them look to your adspace.

UPDATE 5
earning1.jpg earning2.jpg

Now I started to see the drop in traffic, but conversion rate is still amazing so it's not that big of a deal. My products are also high ticket, nothing less than $200.

The real question is should I change my goal since $100/day seems too easy :p

You smashed the goal, but something new to aim for is always good and keeps you focused.

Your niche seems to be well attuned to the Christmas build up so you could see things peaking and falling depending on the day, I would expect this weekend to peak high for you.
Do the products you are pulling from the API have variations or you keeping things simple and just pushing them to the Amazon cart with the standard item? Am finding products with variations such as color or size to be causing me headaches to ensure its a flowing transaction!
Any suggestions on this? Thanks & Good luck

Managing attributes pulled from Amazon could be tedious. For example: BLACK color can come as BLACK 1, BLACK THIS, BLACK THAT,... or anything the sellers can come up with. It will increase your SQL overhead dramatically and slow down your site to level of a snail. So unless you know how to optimize attributes, don't mess with variations. Though, I can help you bear the odds. Just add me on skype: tin.le35

Nice twist tinle But dude... "$100/Day Or I'll Kill Myself", you just reminded me of "Frontier Psychiatrist" Hey not pointing any fingers... Cause you had me at "_Drank some beer"
Definitely following this thread!

tinle - Are you using a plugin for your social site? I was looking through the voting site you referenced earlier and it definitely gave me some ideas. Is there a plugin for wordpress that allows voting and list building based on the votes? I haven't found one.

One more question occurred to me OP - what percent of your pins have links to your mini-social site? All of them? Some of them?
