Congratulations on the earnings. Which LeadPages template did you use? I haven't used them in a while as I'm using super simple squeezes these days; headline + subhead/maybe bullets then optin button, all without a scrolling bar required on the page i.e, above the fold. It's been working gangbusters for me and I highly recommend you try it. But I still hear people raving over Leadpages which makes me wonder if I should try them again. Some of their pages are super long though, but somehow they seem to work.

Actually... at the end of the day, the amount of people on your list doesn't matter. The amount of money you make does.

The list can definitely be used to generate money, but it's not all about having a list.

Its a start. now time to scale up!

This is how I did it.
1. bought leadpages and built an opt in site (it took 10 minutes, they have awesome templates)
2. Bought 400 solo ads
3. Watched my list go from 0 to 150 in 2 days
4. watched my CB account grow (almost broke even for the solo ads cost which is great). I just want the opt ins and the sales were a nice bonus

I should get more sales with my follow up emails

Did you make proit or make ROI (return on investment) with the solo ads? My mean: you don't only make few sales with solo ads because the solo ads is paid traffic like PPC.


If you made profit then you can scale it up while you are building your own list.

Yes the sales do matter, of course but when you are starting to build a list be more concerned with the quality of the list rather than how many sales you make.

and to be honest do your question above "Would you prefer a list of 10,000 subscribers or would you prefer to earn money that day" I would ideally want both but if someone said I will give you 10,000 high quality subscribers or you can have $1,000 I would take the leads.

I agree. I had very nice mini sales page, video testimonial, stats, features, benefits and got nothing. I load this boring POS and it gets 7 sales on 300 clicks.

When you see screen shots of people who make $30,000 in one day it is because they sent their huge list a product launch. No list, no sales .

The big guys I know don't use list building but spend anywhere between $50k to $100k per day on media buys (traffic > LP). List building is good but it's not the only way to make ridiculous amount of sales.

Funny, because every "big guy" I know say that list building is gold nugget.

Maybe they spend 10k a day on media buys to not only make sales but to build there huge list of 500k+ subscribers.???

i am a newbie, that's why i am ask this

my OP was step by step.

1. Find CB offer to promote
2. Buy lead pages, build opt site (took me 10 minutes and it was the first time i ever used leadpages)., I also posted a picture of my site above. very simple and basic
3. Buy solo ads. I found my person on Facebook under solo ad sales or solo ad testimonials group
4. start to build your list, hopefully make a few sales along the way to recoup the cost of the solo ad

OP i dont have much experience with clickbank and what your doing but whats to stop you from buying the clickbank product and then using paypal for people to pay, then you sending them the information? You get 100% of the money and can sell at a lower price to help get more sales

what is the open rate you get from email blast you send(if you sent one till now) , i once had a list of 1000 payday loans leads which were generated by SEO traffic, but only used to get 5-10% open rate and maybe just 1-2 leads, i ended up closing my aweber account after failing at list building as both open rates and conversions were not worth the effort.
