I have tried iframe method but it doesn't worked in Javascript disabled browser. I have lost many traffic to people that uses NoScript plugin. Can anyone please tell what method can I use to mask an url and will worked in Javascript disabled browser, thanks in advance.

I'm not looking for redirection of my url but I'm looking for a way to Hide the original site url with my own domain in the address bar. The only way I know how to do this is by 'Iframe' but this doesn't worked in Javascript disabled browser, those people who have installed Noscript plugin on their browser. Therefore, I'm requesting for a method to Hide/Mask the original site url with my own domain and will worked in a Javascript disabled browser. Thanks alot

Best way is to redirect it through a domain you own. Say I own a site about dogs (dogtricks.com) - to hide your affiliate link, simply visit the cpanel and look for the redirect button. Paste in your aff link, make your new url that it redirects to (dogtricks.com/best-dog-training-guide) and hey-presto, you're done!

He just did that.

I just use an url shortener for that. Easy done with Yourls (yourls org) on your own hosting - so you have it under control.

buy a domain for $12 at godaddy.com. something related to your niche.

Example you are promoting skin care guide. go buy something like skincareguidereview.com.

Call go daddy and ask them how to redirect your link., they will walk you through it. or you can Google it and click on Videos and someone will for sure have a youtube video on how to do this.

Is there anything wrong by using redirect instead as a method of masking your links???

I think that's what people are saying above.

Your browser keeps a record of where you visited before. So you need at least one throwaway hop before your affiliate link to clear this record:

TRAFFIC -> 301/302 REDIRECT -> AFFILIATE LINK -> SALES SITE

Typically, the redirect would be your own domain. But if push comes to a shove, you can use a URL shortener instead.

simple, you only need search google with plugin gocodes or pretty link is ok.
hope it help you

Yes, your methods looks effective I will also give it a try... if I would have this issue

Quick question:

If I use the following 301 redirection syntax in my domain's .htaccess file, does this also hide the referrer?

Redirect 301 /discounteddeals http://www.affilaitelink

Thanks for the depth insight guys. I plan to try it and find out whether it functions smooth in my case. I just wonder whether shortening urls is less popular method than alternative method using throwaway hops? Enlighten me please.
