Ok, So I used the search feature and found hundreds of threads all related to high risk merchant accounts. Yes I do need a high risk merchant account for a new tech support start-up. However, I have some other questions as well.

I've been in the remote tech support industry for about 3 years now and it has always been next to impossible to find a merchant account. As a matter of fact, the only reason that I have the merchant accounts that i currently have is because a buddy of mine worked for the company and was able to pull a few strings in order to get me the account. If it wasn't for him. I wouldn't have it.

I'm branching off and I'm starting my 2nd remote support company and unfortunately my friend no longer works in the merchant industry and it has been a nightmare trying to find a merchant. Are there any company's out there that specialize in tech support merchant accounts, or are there any steps that I can take as a startup company to make it easier to get approved?

I don't feel like it should be this difficult to get an account. Yes the business is high risk and yes i have poor credit. But, This is a very profitable industry and I know there are still companies out there that are willing to provide merchant services for remote support. If you have ANY information related to merchant accounts in the tech support industry PLEASE share

In the last post you said, you have been in this niche for 4 years. Why only 3 years now ?

Seriously? It's called a typo.

What was the point of this response? C'mon man...

Typo ? really ? and the next thing we'll here from you is from a shitlist thread. Good Luck !

Since it's so important to you and you called me out, I can go through my files and find out the exact date I registered my first business if you'd like? I've been In the industry roughtly 3-4 years! I don't see what the big deal is anyways..

give stripe a chance, had good experience with them

Have you used Stripe for tech support or for transactions where the the card was not present. I've read a lot of reviews of stripe holding peoples funds when they use their account for transactions where the card was "keyed in" instead of swiped.

I am looking for high-risk MA for tech support as well. Let me know if you were able to come across any reliable solutions. Thanks.

I don`t know why is it hard to find a merchant account for tech support. There are plenty sites that will accept you. However, if you are not able to find any suitable just PM me and I will give you info where to look.
Good Luck

Stripe will not board tech support. From what you explain, you will need to do a rolling reserve in pretty much any merchant account situation. If they don't ask for one, I would be concerned about the legitimacy of the processor.
