I am trying to use the old method monetizing security camera and dash cam videos on YouTube. I usually download compilation videos and reupload them to YouTube. The problem is YouTube has now reviewed the last 4 videos that I have uploaded and they are asking me for a proof of commercial use. Is it because they match my video to a previous video on YouTube? I thought when they match your video they usually say: "your video has been matched with another video on YouTube" Am I just unlucky for getting so many reviews or is it normal now for YouTube to review every single video?

What can I do to change this? Would editing the video and changing the pitch help?

My account is more than two years old BTW.

Have you tried adding anything at the beginning/end of the video to change the length?

i monetize car crash videos and they never asked me anything you said..... if you get a copyright match delete it right away !

Do you download existing videos on YouTube and reupload them to YouTube without any changes? or do you get the videos from somewhere else?

Yes, I also think the reason you are not able to monetize those videos is the fact that they have been uploaded already. Lately I have been facing the same issue with couple of videos I uploaded and I also have no idea what to do with those videos for now.

have you edited them at all? try uploading them in a different format
