Yep, google analytics. They give you a little piece of code that you copy-and-paste into your website. Then you can see exactly where all visitors are coming from, even in realtime. Are you using wordpress?

Oh good. Then it's pretty simple.
In GA, at the very top lick "Admin".
In left column click dropdown "Account". Then click "Create new account."
Give it a name for your reference, like "All My Xmas Toy Websites" (you can make as many "accounts" as you want; they're really just a way to group together different websites to help you keep them organized.)
Then fill-in "Website name" - like "My Amazon xmas toy site" or whatever.
Then URL. Choose an industry & timezone.
You can leave all 4 boxes at bottom unchecked for now I think.
Then click "Get tracking ID" -- accept the terms -- then copy the code that shows in the next screen. Starts with <script> & ends with </script>.
Then go to wordpress dashboard, Click "Appearance" then "Editor" then look for footer.php on far-right. Click that.
Then paste GA code right before </body> (near the bottom of the file). Note: if you're using a specialized wordpress theme like "Genesis" it's a different procedure. Let me know if this don't work.

Thank you so much for taking time replying to me.
I followed all these steps already, and configured GA on my website. What's the next step? I can view all the page views, sessions, etc. but not the the section where I can track all the incoming links.

Actually, I have no idea. I've been using GA only to track comments (to see which one gets more clicks to my review: comment #1 or #2).
But to keep track of clickthrus to amazon, I've been using Pretty Links and prosper202.
You made me suddenly realize that I have no clue exactly where the click-thrus to Amazon originally came from! (That is, which comment-page sent me the click.)
I now realize I must tie the two systems together (pretty links/prosper202 and Google Analytics)
And so I am now studying Matthew Woodward's tutorial on that now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEhZfefxn0E I will let u know what I learn.

Obviously writing custom tailored comments for each post is ideal (but can get very tedious), but what if I have 5 - 10 comments in a notepad file and just copy and paste them on each comment? Would that defeat the purpose of SEO Jacking. The search engines won't index the comments if they are pasted on like 100+ different blogs/forums since it is duplicate content.
Any thoughts?

This is ideal.
If you spend a day making comments and keep the in a notepad file, you will find you can select a comment from 10 or so pre-written that will fit each article/blogpost - reaaly speeds up the process.
Yu're not going to get much ranking juice from comments anyway, so copy/pasting this way is ideal.

Got my first sale. Thanks again, Meathead! Nothing to write home about: Amazon order total $25, commission 4% so only made one measly dollar - but that's fine.
It's proof-of-concept at this point. I'm getting clicks to my review page every day from comments I made days ago, and steady click-thrus to Amazon (5 yesterday, 2 so far today etc) - so I am delighted.
Because I know that now it's just a matter of continuing with the process. There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that $100/day is easily doable using just this method and nothing else. Actually, I think more like $300-$500/day is not out of reach for me once I really automate & outsource.
(Maybe not with Amazon - I'm just curious to see how the x-mas sales go. After x-mas I will focus on other things like Clickbank, CPA offers etc.)

Don't worry about what the search engines may or may not do because this method doesn't really have anything to do with them. It is about focusing on pages that already get traffic (from who cares where) that may come to your site to help you make money.

Well done Helio777 - you didn't give up and you will now start to reap your rewards for your hard work, effort and perseverance.
My advice now is to expand your site, adding more products with more reviews. It's the right time for you in this niche too being just before Christmas.
TIP: Search google and analytics for the top toy of 2014. You could make a killing on something called the "mini-segway" and any toy to do with "Frozen" - looks like they will be this years' top Christmas presents for kids.

Well, it is now ranked in the top 10 for over a dozen keywords (mostly with "xyz review") and gets over 250 organic visitors a day. This is laser-targetted traffic.
I have not done any work on it for 2 months or so. It makes a minimum of $30 a day in affiliate sales now, all on auto-pilot.

Are you building other backlinks and doing other types of SEO or is this search engine traffic a result of the comment backlinks?
I only ask cause the sites that are giving me comment traffic haven't given many any additional SEO benefits.

No other SEO has been done on that site, just comments from backlinks on blogs etc.
It is important to note though, that your on-page SEO must be up to scratch. KW density and all the other factors count, as does the time your visitors spend on each page and their interaction (page wiews).
Just setting up a sh1tty site no-one wants to read and pointing links at it won't work - you need to write a good review.

I'll take a look at what I have been doing and give it a bit more time to see if I get similar results. It is exciting to know that there could be some residual SEO traffic from this amazing technique.
If you configure google alerts wisely it still works.
In google search search tools >>> past 24 hurs >>>> Sort by date settings work.
I search for multiple KW's this way: "KW1" OR "KW2" OR "KW3" OR etc... and it makes everything easier. I am working on it and hope, that will make sells. No conversion at the moment.
I am now trying to figure out how to drive traffic from big facebook fanpages. Any idea or link to an interesting article about it would be of great help.

Tip: What I do and it works perfectly fine! people love getting things for free, so what I do is I set up a blogpost giving away a free ebook where I teach people how to make money online. In this ebook I have my affiliate link which is making me $100 per sale. Getting $500 a week now only started a month ago! This way you earn both money and generate an email list at the same time.
