What Tumblr monetizing method do you guys use without using NSFW?

Run several blogs and have them post different content, choose one you want to grow at a time and send all the traffic from all the blogs to that one blog. Put adsense. Rinse. Repeat.

I've been doing this for a while and I make around $120 dollars a month without doing any work because it's all automated. I have around 25k-35k real followers and gain around 2.5k organically a month. I also get around 250k notes a month. And it seems like it's starting to boom, posted something a few days ago and it has 120k notes already...

Is this for only one blog? How many blog are link straight to that blog?

Adsense is great, and I use all the traffic to send it off to my site which is also monetized with other methods. Pretty simple.

Potentially.

I think Adsense on a blog is a very bad idea. Tumblr is now owned by Yahoo, so letting Google make money off of their social network doesn't make a lot of sense. It wouldn't surprise me if they completely disabled Adsense from all blogs at some point.

You can be banned for the most random things on Tumblr, I wouldn't say leaving an Adsense Ad on your blog is safe. I like to monetize my Tumblr blogs by sending the traffic to web domains I own.

Honestly it's kinda hard to make good money on tumblr blogs unless you have hundreds of thousands of views, a lot of your followers stop visiting your page once they follow you

This is very true. It's kind of hard getting traffic directly to the blog because people are mainly on the dashboards. I think it's best to use permalinks to link to your websites or affiliate links. I've been using adfling.net which is pretty much like adfly but they allow porn.

Been working pretty well I got a few payouts with them.

Honestly I make more money uploading porn videos and getting paid per view.

I found nothing in tumblr help about why i can't use Adsense on my blog. Can i use advertising yahoo instead of adsens?
One more question if i buy domain name for my blog can tumblr ban me?

You're best bet is to just buy your own domain and build a site that relates to your tumblr blog. That way if Tumblr ever does ban you then you will still have some traffic to it. If you have left a large enough footprint with your content on tumblr it will continue to linger out there for months after the account is banned which means potential traffic. If you just put a domain name on your blog and they ban the blog then you're out of luck.
