Pay per install crap

Has anybody has any success whatsoever with pay per install?

Ive been reading reviews of all of the companies who run ppi and they all have bad press, most of them dont record half of your installs and some dont even pay out at all, ive been using waverevenue and had around 20 installs but only had 3 recorded! ive signed up for luxecash and had no reply at all, but ive heard that they operate in the same way aswell and dont record half of your sales.

Anybody out there managed to make any decent money with them?

Talk to HaRRo about luxecash, he can probably get you approved in no time.

Yes there are people make big coin off of PPI, it's simply a matter of scaling. Like p2p for example. You can't just share one file and expect it to create you a full time income. Same goes with torrents. If you really want to make fantastic money, you need to be uploading massive amounts of torrents every day.

I mean you may get that one that just blows up, but to really make gobs of money you need to think massive volume.

To be honest I think I have potential to make a decent amount of coinage from it, my problem is at the moment is finding an affiliate that isnt going to shave a massive amount off my sales! ive tried messages harro but no joy yet, ive also read some bad reviews about luxecash saying they shave your sales away! ill see if i can get in touch with him.

lets assume luxe do shave (im not sure they do, i lean towards not), you think wr shave, they may well do, they may not, i havnt done much through them yet, consider how often the exes are found by av/antispyware, luxe update their exe DAILY, you may get less per install but your chances of an install getting through are far higher if you keep sending the newest exes... just some food for thought

also consider luxe dont care what bh methods you use... and dont care if you dont tell the user you are installing it...

Check out hxxp://www.pay-per-install.org and go into the luxe part to see what others are saying. I've heard they update a day late, so maybe those people who were telling you they shave just saw their stats that day or something. Who knows, but you'll never until you give it a shot.

Ok question:
When adding an exe from Luxecash :

I choose Create SFX file in winrar.Then i went to Advanced-> SFX options and wrote the exe file name in the run before extraction field.
Then renamed the whole file and made a torrent file for it.
Is this ok ?
Let me know cause yesterday i had around 100 downloads yet nothing shows up in the stats and the guy on icq says nothing was installed !

I also experienced that. I even use the chatroom to pretend as a girl and gave an sfx file and told the guys that it was my pics from the beach wearing bikini. Many opened it, though still no conversion. Then I tried to open it myself to see maybe something is wrong with my sfx file. My pc became shitty after that, I have to reformat my hard drives and reinstall my os. My files are gone and too bad I dont have any back ups. I stayed away from that PPI thing after that.

To answer your question as others have already done, yes, there is definately money to be made with PPI, it's just a matter of finding the right program to deal with.

Some programs are alot more "claw back" heavy than others, and some of them don't claw back at all, its all about who you deal with.

AV/security software also contributes to the amount of clawback you might receive from a PPI program. If the user can't successfully install the software, OR gets scared off from installing it because of big flashing "NO NO NO" messages from their AV program, then its harder to monetize. My recommendation is to deal with a program that either updates their EXE very regularly to stay ahead of the AV software, or conversely, deal with a program whos software isn't flagged by AV. (much harder to do)

Depending on distribution methods and the ultimate CPD paid out by the program, theres definately money to be made. It's really a matter of picking something that is established enough to stay on top of things like EXE updates and that has a wide enough distributor base to ensure payouts.

They are out there so good lucky!

your best bet is to combine .exe's with iexpress a program built into windows.

i haven't tried any other PPI programs besides luxecash but so far my experience with them has been great.

This is annoying...My files are out there since yesterday yet nothing happens.

Thanks for the replies guys, ive managed to get accepted with luxe so hopefully have more joy with them

Just a little observation ive made though, i had very few downloads on p2p using the iexpress method because few people will download applications as straight .exe's most people much prefer .rar and .zip files and i had more success bundling the exe as a fake keygen and then zipping the whole lot up!

sometimes they pay less, some times there install tracking is inaccurate.

sometimes the install .exe take a process so its harder to get installs.

there are multiple reasons why those are just a few of the biggies.
