You are missing one of the most important ingredients in ranking a site, OP, patience.
The majority of your posts indicate that you are expecting the ranking process to be immediate and for you to be in the top 3 for everything you target.
Hit your local Wal-Mart and in aisle 4 grab some patience and let it have it's way with you.

I wonder why you can't be honest for once. Expecting at least 1 keyword to be in the top 100 doesn't equate to expecting miracles. If a service that costs as much as $500 cannot push a site to the top 100 for even one keyword, it's definitely not worth the money.

really may be you brought wrong services here or just that your site is in a very competitive niche and you need to invest more time and money.

If you can't get to top 100# after link building, it is most likely because of your ONPAGE SEO.
To be 100% honest with you, i usually spend A LOT of time on onpage SEO more than any offpage, since they are the #1 foundation for ranking.
Ever notice people do construction? Foundation is the most important of them all, if the fundamental of your house is well built, then it saves you ton of headache in the future.
Just like in SEO, i have ranked a lot of easy-mid keywords to top 50# with totally 0 link building, why? proper domain authority gain + correctly optimized pages will kill it.
So in short, i have no idea what you have bought, but i agree a lot of BSTs here are crappy, however, sometime the problem is in yourself

It has been 1 month according to the OP. For all you know the site is brand new as well and the competition could be a kin to payday loans.
There are also other factors aside from off site SEO.
But one month?
I'd be fine waiting myself, updating my site, adding more content, adding in properly named images, and talking with the provider of the services as well as doing some off site SEO on my own, even if it were light backlinks.
But I'm not going to get into a discussion with a guy like you that openly admits to having 2 accounts and then questions my honesty.
Or perhaps its ops fault here pal. Perhaps he is kw stuffing his site or something like that.
No seo pack/service can work if OP kw stuffs his shit lol.

I have to agree. When I get done with content and ping the site, they index in the top 100, usually. Some quality branding links can boost a site up to page 3-5 easily. Really no excuse why there are no KW in the first 10 pages.

What as done for the $500. Can you see the work? Was it done correctly?
If you got what you paid for, and you keyword did not rise, then you bought the wrong service for your situation.
The vendor either did what they were supposed to do, or they did not.
If you did not get what you paid for, then open a shitlist.
I once went to the garage to have my injectors cleaned on my car. The garage guy told me I did not need the injectors clean, there was some other problem with the car causing it to stall. I figured he was not being honest, and told him to clean the injectors like I wanted.
He did, I paid for it, and the problem was not fixed.

Dont waste your time and money to fake people. This is depends on your service dealer.If he is a talented guy he can exactly do your work very nicely.

What are you saying? I have rank websites with combination of SEO services here and for less than $250. People who offer SEO see it as a business, unless you change your mentality, you are going to find it hard outsourcing your projects.

I have 2 new sites. One still spending monthly 100+ on it and still at no.13. The other one, I have not put up new articles on site or build backlinks to it, and it ranking no.2 now.
IM is a number game, build more and sometime it nice to see one or two sites home run.

Do you know the niche of the website and the keyword difficulty? So if I paid someone $500 for a high comp word, I should expect to see results within a month?
However I do not really agree with BTB either, it would all be dependant on the service. Had I paid $500 for a churn and burn service which offered my the world in a week and did nothing within a month, I too would not be happy. But then again, we do not know what he has ordered.
