So such a big site... And i haven't searched the whole thread to see your BL building strategy.

So how do you plan to do it?

I only have 1 "big" site which has 48 posts... I'm struggling to rank it for that 48 posts but is so hard to manage link building strategy for 48 keywords at a time... Any tips, tricks... ?

Been following your journey since i'm trying to build an authority site myself. I'm thinking of doing some niche relevant do follow/nofollow blog comments to some of my articles daily, do you think this would this be a good idea?

That won't be a bad idea at all as long as you don't slam the site with backlinks all of a sudden. I'm a fan of the mixture of do and no follow as you need that mixture.

So how do you plan to do it?

The thread itself has most of the info that you are asking about. I'm trying to share as much as possible what I am doing as I move along.

Also, as to "plan", some of that changes as I see other things develop so there is no hard fast blueprint that I will stick to and I suggest that others do the same.

That is, in large part, because I have not offered much in the way of backlinking yet... I have done some and shared that here and will do more and will share in the future here as to this site.

I'm going to try and share everything I do with this site so that anyone can replicate it with very little cash outlay and just a bunch of hard work.

If I fail to share something it will only because I forgot and not because I am holding back... this thread is really to show you how to make long term money from a large site with only hard work.

When picking a domain name for a keyword do you prefer the keyword to be in the domain name or not? Lets give an example as Black coffee being the main keyword, and the domain blackcoffee would be available would you go for it?
I'm asking because when writing an article that contains the word black coffee in the tittle the keyword would appear twice in the url and perhaps cause over optimization? eg: (blackcoffee\articletitlehere) - (I cannot post any links so i hope you understand what i am trying to ask)

It is nice to have a domain name that is relevant but you can brand a domain without much of an issue.

I look for something general to the niche I am working with.

If the site is about shoes, the domain name could be ShoeAdvice.com, or ShoeTypes.com or something along those lines... it could also be FootwearAdvice.com or FootwearTypes.com which is actually better as it is more broad.

Don't over think the domain, Cebula, that is almost insignificant when you are building a site like this.

Same here, I bought an aged domain with some reasonable metrics, and just went for a name that had the broad niche in it.

Today I will be adding in links to my eBay partnernetwork account... I'm going to see how that works as this site is a products kind of site as much as it is informational.

I'll be putting in some links with images, inline text and also using their creatives generator... that has worked well for me in the past on sites where I use eBay to monetize.

It is a little early for me to monetize the site as I usually wait a little bit but I want to catch some of the Christmas gift buying crowd and my stuff will certainly work well for that.

this site is a products kind of site as much as it is informational.

BTB, is the content you create for the site a combination of informational articles & also product specific articles? Or are the articles more informational and you mention specific products within those articles.

The way I've been doing it so far on my site is that all the articles have been informational, but I add in recommended products. I could write articles around specific products, but I haven't gotten to that point yet.

I have close to 100K words on it and this past week been getting in the area of 50 UVs a day... yesterday was 71 and I'm at 46 already today. Not a lot at all but I've done very little as to off site promotion/SEO and would expect to be hitting 200 in a few weeks and perhaps 300 by the time Santa comes down the chimney.

For this site my content is mainly informational in a very general sense without mentioning any products in particular. I do mention eBay though and that they can find the {best|best deals|greatest} there and that was in my mind from the get go... you would be surprised how easy it is to out rank eBay for some general products.

UVs hit 103 yesterday and Santa is coming + I'd like to grab some of that Holiday spending cash. The KWs that they are using to find me are mostly related to purchasing the types of products related to the niche so I am pretty sure I'll get some revenue from them.

I'm going to use my eBay partner network account; I'm pretty sure I mentioned that before in this thread and I'll use some of their creatives as well as some that I generate.

This is not something I would typically do as the site is not yet very big but if I did the same thing each and every time it would be boring, no fun and that ain't no good.
