Now im getting confused and frustrated with myself

I am in search of a job I can do at my fingertips seeing as I have over 10+ yrs experience on the net as well as with are current dilemma with my daughter having been diagnosed with cancer so I need a highly flexible job. I went upon myself to post an ad on CL looking for work which was the biggest mistake I've ever made looking for work cause all I got were people trying to A) have me do illegal stuff B) make posts for some odd reason that ovisually made them money but still don't understand what they were doing.

After alot ton of research I stumbled upon this site and some very intelligent individuals on here ovisually more then myself. I am currently in the process of watching the "4 Steps to Affiliate Success" on CB and im to the 3rd video. I'm understanding them to a certain extent except for the one thing of promoting a product on a website I build.

I have to have an inventory of merchandise or drop shipping???? If not what is the point of building a platform if I can get people to a vendors website and buy there product.....?????? It just seems there is a video missing between 1 and 2. I have some fantastic ideas to promote and narrowed them way down but still am lost and my brain literally feels like it is going to explode.

I know this is not an overnight thing or easy by no means or everyone would be doing it, I just don't want to miss a step. I will put months if not years w/o making a penny but I prefer not to be chasing my tail in circles

You don't need inventory for CB. All products are digital.
You build a site, usually with a review of the product. You then make a recommendation to buy the product and tell people to click on your affiliate link. Whenever someone purchases the product through your link, you make a commission.
Whoever best can bring people to their site and introduce or persuade the customer to buy the product, will make the most money.
That is why knowing how to drive people to your site is very important.

If those are your accounts then I would be suspect of the daughter with cancer comment, if not then I apologise but I am always wary of people asking for help but bring out the cancer card in the first sentence.

So I am having people go to my website which will direct them to the vendor site to purchase a product from the vendor? How does CB know which product they purchase from the vendor site if theres multiple products?

I will never give up, I got a rubberband bracelet from the hospital at the start of this whole ordeal that says "Never Ever Give Up" and to this day I have yet to take it over or ever give up on something I set my mind to. And im setting my mind to this or I would not be here. Thank you for your response

If you post adverts asking for working from home jobs expect to be scammed.

Regarding promoting a product this does not necessarily mean a physical product although it can be. You could promote digital products such as the ones on clickbank. You don't need to have a warehouse full of products to ship out.

Dropshipping can be a viable option, some people make a decent living with it. It can be a great way to get started if you don't want/can't afford to buy stock to resell.

There are tons of methods on this site, read them, pick one and use it. You will find the guys on this site will be very helpful so long as you are prepared to put the effort in and work at it. They have zero tolerance for people who want spoonfeeding though so be prepared to do your own research as well.

I have had an xbox account quite awhile back but traded it for ps3. I've nvr had any of those items or delt with ebay, im not looking for sympathy for my daughter or anything but I will say this, standing by her bedside in the PICU at St. Louis Jewish Children's Hospital for almost 2 months while she was sedated having a breathing tube and multiple iv's while she bleed out almost 100ml every 45mins and crying and hoping she was going to make it is no joke and hope no family ever has to go threw it.

I don't have 1$ to my name at the moment but that can change if theres a possibility to make money from it. Only reason I was looking for a job from home is cause I have net access at home and the hospital at Peoria OSF Medical Center and weither I will be home or in Peoria where her treatment got transferred to since its 2hrs less of a drive is not plannable except for her lab draw's every Monday and then her chemo treatment which takes 2 days every other week(4hrs chemo iv then 24hrs fluids). But at any time if her temp goes over 100.4 I have to take her immediately to Peoria and no one will ever hire someone that does not have a reliable work schedule.

How do I obtain these link's for the items I have in mind? Or are there only certain vendors that carry this? I feel like im missing the video on how to find a vendor that accepts affiliates after the knowledge you guys have given me.

I feel very strong in persuading a customer and driving people to my website being I have multiple levels of sales experience but also learned a few things regarding internet marketing which I did not have on my resume.
