This Article is aimed at and extremely usefully for any niche or business that has a brick and mortar location and is looking to achieve more then just Organic or PPC rankings.

Many Lawyers, Doctors, and other professional service companies leverage local listing since it is both free and positioned high up in the SERP's often even above organic listings!

*FYI - If you already have solid organic rankings then achieving local rankings is much easier due to the existing domain authority your website will have.

Thus I always to suggest for everyone to set-up a Google Local Places Page first since it is both free and gives you the ability to achieve multiple Page 1 rankings on Google.

Hi sdseoguru thanks a lot for this helpfull information .. so currently iam doing local seo for a dubai based company ... but the postal codes here when i check on moz local i cant find anything ... is it only supporting usa only ? if yes is there any other ways to do citations for dubai based brick and mortar businesses ?

Hey asritad, I just double checked Google Business Places and I did not see Dubai as a available location unfortunately.
