I don't believe this thread is doing any of those things. Where does it prohibit discussion?

I agree. I don't really like religious discussions but that's not the point. OP has done none of the things which are stated to be prohibited

I would have to agree that OP has not said anything hateful against any religion he was simply asking if anybody here is an atheist.That being said religion threads always take a turn for the worst because everybody thinks that their religion is superior to another.So lets just keep religion away from IM.There is no need for it here.

Religion threads. Just as bad as political threads. The two things I love to discuss the most, but the two things that make me want to throw my computer across the room and go get drunk after a discussion which quickly leads to a "formal debate".

OP is asking nothing wrong here... Assuming that this thread will lead to a hate-fest is already a bad way to start . Just keep it civil, it's not that hard. If you know you have difficulties keeping it civil, don't comment ^^.

Ok fair enough. My earlier statements are withdrawn. To be fair to myself, that is clearly from a thread, and not in the rules section which is what has been linked to in this thread. Perhaps the rules section should be updated to be more concise

If we were allowed to discuss such things it would get chaotic incredibly fast and as mentioned, people can fallout with each other it.
We are all here to make money. Unless god plans to show himself and teach us the ultimate method to earn billions I don't want to know.
