FB Ads: No impressions after 24 hours?

I'm going to run some FB ads through power editor and it's been 24hrs and I still have no impressions. I set my bid to 25% higher then the maximum recommended bid and nothing, anyone know what might be going on?

is this your first ad on the account? if so it sounds like its going to be banned

no ive run a bunch of ads in the past spending over a couple grand, have no outstanding balance or anything either

Check your emails for rejection message. It has happened to me many times that my ad gets approved but not running for days and I check my emails and see that ad was rejected but it just don't show on the site.

i actually got the confirmation email saying my ad was approved. maybe it will just take more time?

Different bids can yield to different results. The amount you bid will depend where your ad will be placed on fb. Meaning if you're targeting newfeed, then your ad will appear in the top results if you bid high. If you bid low, you will either get low quality placements or no impressions as at all.

This is just my experience by the way.

Negative .... Its not the placement you should be worried about ... its your target audience ...

Never put a bid ... unless you want to pay thousands

1. Use 6 images when creating an ad set - so that you can see which ad in your ad set is converting better.
2. Use custom audience - scrape highly targeted user for your ad
3. Make a Fan Page - in order to make ads visible on timeline, etc ...
4. Set your ad to $1/day and let it run for at least 5 days - to base your results
5. Make sure what ever you are promoting SELLS - if you are going to advertise garbage don't expect much

please don't hijack this thread into how to run facebook campaigns as i know what im doing.

im just trying to figure out why i wouldn't be getting any impressions on my campaign after over 24hours of my ad being approved and my bid/daily budget being sufficient enough to run the ad.

You are obviously doing something wrong lol so Don't accuse me of doing any such thing ... since all I was trying to do is help you ...

can you post a screenshot of your adset?
