Twitter Unfollow Rules?

I have a account with 2.1k and I'm following 2.3k. I hit my follow limit everyday and I unfollow every other day. (either from around 200-500 depending on how many people follow me from my follow sprees. Is this a safe techinque? I started my account on 10-22-14.

Wait longer to be on the same side. I know of some people who only unfollow every week.

In the beginning i usually unfollow every other day and in bits and pieces. Meaning not 100 in one go but perhaps in batches of 10 on one day and in batches of 25 another day so as to avoid creating any pattern. As the account ages so does the speed of my unfollowing.

What I would do is similar to itsblinkhere, I tend to mass follow every single day and when the following:follower ratio looks funny I mass unfollow the ones who aren't following back till i'm left with the ones who are following back (not in a single day of course)

Never unfollow right after you follow people, Its no limit on unfollowing..Try to wait a day or two before you unfollow!

Would also like to know the answer to this. I've done manual unfollows myself in the past, and it is incredibly tedious.
