Iv'e been seeing a lot of Twitter related questions being asked over and over again. So I thought I would put together a list of questions and answers. Feel free to add your question and answer if you think I forgot it.

Question #1
How do I get verified on Twitter?

Answer
If you are famous and have over 1m followers then simple tweeting @verified and asking them to verify you should do it. If you spend a lot on Twitter ads "Over $15k" should also get you verified. Some people have had some luck making a lot of parody accounts and then report them to Twitter, if enough parody accounts are created then they think that you are famous enought that people want to copy you so then they protect your identity by verifying you.
*note that these methods might not work for everyone

Question #2
Why is my account getting locked?

Answer
It could be many things. If you log into it from a different IP's to many times they will lock it because they think you have been hacked. If you follow to many people at once they will also lock you. Anything kind of activity that is not ussual for your account will get you locked. For example: If you havn't ever deleted any DM's and suddenly you go and delete 50 of then...you will get locked. As a genaral rule always try to slowly work yourself into any mass action that you might be doing with your account.

Question #3
How many people can I follow or unfollow with a old account

Answer
As I said in the last question, it all deppends on what that specific account has been doing lately. If you havn't followed or unfollow anyone for a year then you will probably get suspended if you try following/unfollowing more that 10 per day. You get the drift.

Question #4
My account got hacked, How can I get it back?

Answer
If you ask this question then you are probably trying to hack someone else's account, so go get lost.

Question #5
What is the best Bot?

Answer
No bot can do everything. If you have any special requirments then you should probably code one yourself or have someone make you a costom bot. If you want to find out which bot will do what you need it to, try contacting the developers and asking them (The guys that run the sales threads). Most developers will be glad to answer questions.

Question #6
How many people should I follow per day?

Answer
If you are willing to unlock your account every day then just go for it until you get locked. If you are starting with a new account then I would recomend starting the first day by following 50 and increasing by 50 per day.

Question #7
How many accounts can I have per IP/Proxy

Answer
As a general rule 5. Iv'e heard of people running way more but anything over 5 will eventually need to be Phone Verified.

Question #8
How do I make money with Twitter?

Answer
Teeshirts, CPA and maybe even CPI. There is no solid method so just think out of the box and try stuff.

Question #9
Where can I buy real followers?

Answer
You can't!

Hope this helps. If you think I should include more or if I forgot something important then let me know and I will update the post.

Thanks Blink

Thanks a lot very informative. I have a question quickly about finding a bot which replies to a specific user with a specific tweets. Is there any?

You can unfollow unlimited per day regardless of your account size or age. twitter even states this, that they is no limit enposed for unfollowing

there is a big difference between what twitter say and what is the truth
twitter say you can follow 1000 per day . try it and tell me if your account is still alive :p

Good guide. thanks for sharing. I love twitter. I want to know why in the past I was getting a lot of traffic from twitter but now the traffic is very poor.

I have another questions: When replying to an account (celeb)...I am usually the first or second one to reply. But it never shows up (when I'm logged out). Could you give me any tips? Would it be because of the age of the account? Or the number of tweets I have? (approx 20)..I don't think its the number of followers as one replier has only 50 but shows up (about 1k tweets though)

I don't think that it has anything to do with your account. I was always under the impression that it was whoever got around to tweeting it faster would show up first. Lately iv'e been seeing things a little differently on twitter. So let me try to explain what I think is happening. When you see a celeb tweet and you see that there is only one reply, you are probably the 50th-60th person that is looking at that very tweet. All the accounts that try to reply think that they are the second person to reply, and they will always show that you replied second. But a new user that has not replied will see what is actually happening real time. Whoever actually submits their reply first will show up first system wide. So think out of the box and figure out a way to solve the problem programaticaly. What I would do is monitor a list of celeb accounts every 2-3 seconds and see if they get updated. Whenever a account gets a timeline update then have it automaticaly reply your spam or whatever you want. You will not get anywhere manually typing out tweets...it will have to be automated. Also maybe try favoriting your own retweet with other twitter accounts. I havn't really tried that with twitter but it works for other social media like youtube and even yahoo answers.
And don't even think about asking what kind of software would be able to do that, if you want a bot that can do that you will have to build one yourself or have one costom built.

Twitter terms state a lot of stuff that they don't comply with. I just unfollowed 300 people and got suspend. I checked my email and it said I was suspended for excessive unfollow activity.

right. nowadays you should not follow more then 200. and that's already a lot.

Liked the #2 and #9
That's the must thing that many of the marketers don't understand usually..

Thanks for the reply. I think you misunderstood my question. Basically I am saying I am usually the first one to reply (using the tactic you have suggested) with this I am usually the first or second to reply (in real time on the list) and can see this with the account I am replying with and another acc I have and am following the replier acc with. But when i am logged in with neither acc I am no where to be seen on the list! I have tried several methids incl favourating/retweeting thinking maybe this will give more power and therefore display my tweet. I have also tried .@ or sentance the @reply etc. If anyone can let me know the solution that'd be very kind of them :)

Are your accounts Email Verified as I have seen that kind of conditions when my accounts are not email verified.
If your accounts are verified then its a Pretty new thing to check out.

So if I understand correctly...you can actually see your accounts @reply from another account ranked high in the list? If everyone else but you can see that your tweet is ranked..then why give a fuck?
...
So now i'm rereading what you wrote and i'm starting to understand....you have Account #1 do the @reply, Account #2 is following Account #1 and you can see the tweet ranked with both accounts. My question would be them if Account #2 is also following the celeb? Well if it is or if it isn't my theory still is valid. Because Account #2 is getting its information from its hightest priority accounts first(accounts that it is following would have higher priority). If you are following my explanation then you will see that when Account #1 tweets to Account #Celeb then Account #2 gives the accounts that it is following priority. Therefore it comes back to the time issue. Get your @replies out there faster.

If you don't believe me then test my theory for yourself. Make a new twitter account and don't follow any accounts but the 100th or 150th account that replied to the Celeb. The account you followed should then appear at the top of the @reply list.

When I used to try to try to automate bids on freelancer sites I found out that you need to be faster than seconds, sometimes you need to do stuff in milliseconds. Otherwise I suggest you just try to think like twitter does and you should be able to get it sorted out. If it is not how fast you @reply then I don't know what else it could be.

Again thanks for the reply. I understand what your saying, so basucally acc 2 is seeing acc 1 where it should be in real time which is good but essentially what i want is those people who aren't following my acc 1 to see me on the list as well. Which is what i dont understand as I see other accs who aren't associated to wither of my accs on the list. How is this possible? Why is twitter giving these accs so much weight as compared to my accs to be seen on the list whether I am logged in or not?

I understand what your saying, so basically acc 2 is seeing acc 1 where it should be in real time
Wrong, Accont#2 is seeing where Account#1 THINKS it is in real time. Damn! This is hard to get across to you. :) So let me try explaining again. Ok, Account#1 thinks it @replied 3rd. So it places itself in third possition on the list. Only people that follow Account#1 will see this as well. If you want everyone else to see the @reply then either they have to be following you or, like I stated above, you need to actually be the first one @replying. Iv'e seen @replies on celebs tweets go to 100nds. in just a few seconds. I think your problem is still the speed you get your @reply sent because if it was actually sent 3rd. it would actually be third.

....I don't know if I say something before but take this for an example... You go on twitter and find a celeb who has just Tweeted. There is maybe two @replies that you can see but in really there is maybe 50 or 100 being processed by twitter at that very moment. Twitter has a system that processes that kind of stuff to make sure its not spam. I found that out when I had multiple accounts @replying and mentioning me. After they process 50 or 100 @replies(please note that all the people being processed think that their tweet is 2nd or third also)their system might be changing up the real time order of the tweets. If that is the case then there is probably no workaround.

Ok now i think i understand lol so basically even though the reply is getting seen first in both accs the processing lag time as compared to others is slower. Man...i reply within like 10secs how the hell do normal people beat this

It depend on speed, If you aggresively (fast) following people then your accounts will get block, If you do it slowly you can follow 1000 a day easily. Tested.
