how can this site rank google #3 ?

Hi guys. I am newbie of SEO even though i have been in SEO business for 2 years. I am really confused for the ranking position for the site bellow:


keyword: Louis vuitton outlet
position: 3
ranking site: imperialklubgolf ( The site is not Louis vuitton niche site. TF 23 and CF 17, total backlink referring domain 993. domain age 10 years )

When i click above links on google, it redirect to site 7louisvuitton

I can not make the exact url here and so you can search by google with the keyword above.Any one can explain how the site can achieve #3 ranking in google ? thanks

It's called cloaking. Uses the authority of said domain to rank some random spammy site.

Though I could go further, hacking is not allowed in bhw.

If you visit the site directly by entering the URL in address bar, the site will work just fine but when accessed from Bing/Yahoo/Google search results, it'll load the 7louisvuitton after a meta refresh. I won't go any deeper into this topic since hacking discussions are not allowed in BHW but you can search yourself for xss attack.

When my sites got hacked they plummeted from the SERPs. So I'm really curious why G would be ranking a hacked site in the first place.

Well, the thing is that your site ranks by "using" the hacked site's authority. It's like parasite sites, but in a more "hardcore" way.

It's not just the costs, this "method" is much easier and can be scaled up easily by automation where in domain hunting, you need a lot of time and resources to find the real gem. Not to mention another long haul to setup the site without leaving any footprints.

Because it`s way quicker to get things done. You get access to those (hacked) sites with a few bucks and you only need to add one page (or change and cloak one page) and start blasting to get it ranked. Basically you get all things done less than half an hour and start building another project.

Well, it means that he has to rank the hacked site first. Is it that easy ? Why not blast his money site in the same way while he can blast the hacked site easily? in addition, the hacked site is not related with the keyword.

start reading what's domain authority is, it much much easier to rank a aged domain with tons of quality links than your freshly new domain buddy.
