One uncertainty is holding me back from getting back into ebay

In 2010 i was selling p90x's and movie dvd sets on ebay with my original name social security linked account , I didnt know about ebay stealth and all that , at the time . I was posting p90x's too quick , with no knowledge on how ebay can track you down , and shut your account off. so when i got my account taken away , i looked for a way to make money as i was making . for my bills and responsibilities it was good .

I then found about aspkin and his book , signed up , went on the forum . and made 4 accounts a few months later . but i still didnt understand what the purpose of the accounts are. I then moved to mexico a week after i made the 4th account and never really had the chance to test them out , and see what i can sell .

On the aspkin forums 90% of the people don't recommend people to sell vero items .

i see people talking about finishng their 100th stealth account , 200 accounts ready to use . large amount of accounts .

I want to get back into the ebay thing , and these accounts i opened are 3 years old , but with lowest limit to sell . i dont mind building up the feedback for a few months . i want to sell vero items on a few accounts , high vero items sometimes , othertimes not so high .

With a account gaining feedback properly , raises selling limits , would selling multiple vero items a month really get you suspended ? without any linking ebay maybe did ?

What i dont understand is on that forum , people make so many accounts , and look down on vero items . maybe im looking at it wrong , if anyone could clear that up for me , it would be very helpful.

well duh, selling VERO items is probably the #1 reason why people selling legit items get banned from eBay.

People exaggerate. I sell on 5 accounts w/50-200 listings each, and a couple of aging accounts and it takes me hours a day. I would guess that the only people who have 200 accounts running are people who sell them, or are constantly rotating accounts.

Selling ONE Vero item can get you banned, depending on what it is. A couple of complaints that you shipped fake merchandise or one complaint from the Vero rights holder and you are banned. It would take you years to build up enough account equity at eBay to survive that.

People who sell fake merchandise is the enemy of stealthers who sell legit merchandise, ship on time, but still got banned over some stupid crap. A LOT of greedy idiots who abused the system trying to make a quick buck while not knowing what they're doing ruined eBay for many people who want to get involved in selling Vero items.

Anything with a brand name. For example, if I sell TomL's Widgets, if anyone lists a TomL's Widget on eBay, I can contact them and tell them the seller doens't have the right to sell the widgets and eBay will take the listings down. Or if I complain to eBay that people are selling fake TomL's widgets, they'll take those listings down and make the seller send them invoices to prove that they are reselling legit TomL's widget.
