[HELP] Need Reliable Phone Verification - Open To Suggestions!

So after looking around for free sms receiving websites for the last hour trying to verify an account, I have decided they are unreliable and headache-inducing. The outlook account was just locked for a day for too many messages sent to these free numbers :\.

I had a guy that I would use to verify my accounts before but he lives in India and the time difference is killer.

I'm just looking for a reliable website/software that I can get a phone number for a while to verify sites like Facebook, Google and Hotmail. CL would be a massive bonus as well. Cheap is preferred but I don't mind paying for something that works. I don't want to have to wait for my contact to come online every time I want to phone verify something. I also want to make sure that the service provides numbers that actually work for the websites I mentioned.

Does anyone have experience with receive-sms (dot) com? They look really promising but I tried their free numbers with no luck. I'm thinking of "splurging" for a $3 phone number to test it out.

To my knowledge, the numbers from Pinger and other similar sites are blocked by the popular websites that require phone verification.

I dunno where you live, but where I'm from (UK) a lot of companies give out free sims, or maximum 99p. Just grab a bunch of these

I'm in Canada and we get absolutely destroyed by our cell phone monopolies. I recall asking my provider what additional sims cost and they said $25 or something wild like that. This would really be the best solution. I would grab a fistful of sims if I could find them for $5 or less in Canada (Toronto).

Cool these guys look pretty good! Can I just request a new number for $1 whenever? Hopefully they work for verifications because it's the exact type of service I'm looking for.
