Trust me, he feels good. When I was arrested over a decade ago I had to spend a week in jail before I was bailed out on a $200k bond (no 10% for me). And being released from jail, EVEN WHEN you know you're gonna have to go back (I went back 10 months later, was sentenced to 7 years & served 2) it's still a great feeling to be OUT.

So he most likely is feeling great right now.

I also know he's scared as fuck but you very quickly realize, "this is something I can't control". And the only mindset you can adopt is, "I'm gonna enjoy every minute of these last few months no matter how fucked up my life is now".

Finally, this will come off wrong, but I'd much rather serve time in a pedo prison than a prison for drug and violent offenders. At least in my area, all the pedo's are housed in 1 prison called "Avenel". I had to go there for 2 weeks for my parole hearing and pedo prisons are more like mental hospitals than prisons. Prisoners get to stay out of their cells 16 hours / day (I was only allowed out 4 hours / day), they get greeted by therapists all day long asking them "how do you feel", "how's you're day going", "are you gonna go to such and such recreational activity today".... while in normal prison, you can be sick as hell, on the brink of death, ask the CO's for help and they'll say "shut up and go back to your cell". That happened to me once when I got food poisoning. I was shaking, sweating, could barely walk, told a CO I needed to see a nurse and he said "stop whining and go back to your cell". 2 hours later I had a seizure then was rushed to the enfirmary lol.

But in pedo prisons that shit never happens cause they are treated like a five star hotel.

The flipside on all this is once they get out.... that's when real prison starts. You gotta register as a sex offender, turn all your emails, social media, phone, passwords to your parole officer. You have to visit you parole officer basically for the rest of your life. You have to visit them more often. Gotta tell everyone you're a sex offender, employeer, landlord, can't walk within 100 yards of a school, can't do a lot of shit.

Peado wing or no paedo wing, because of his age he will be in a young offenders, and I would rather be in a real jail banged up for 23 hours, than with a bunch of kids with something to prove. He isn't going to have it easy if he is sent down, especially not in his area, no offence to anyone here at all, but it is mostly black / Asian, and they will not take a liking to a little skinny white boy.

True true. I had to serve half my time in a youth correctional facility and half in an adult facility and you're definitely right about that. There's like 10xs more fighting / violence in those facilities cause young kids can't shill the fuck out.

And the skinny white boy thing definitely ain't gonna help like you said. I was 5' 6", 140lbs, white middle class suburban when arrested. For the next 10 months on bail all I did was lift & eat my ass off. I was eating 6 meals a day of chicken, fish, rice and veggies. I was able to put on 25lbs of muscle but still, my first 3 months in I got the shit beat out of me. My second fight was more of a tie though. Dude got off a few shots, managed to get behind his back and choke him out till CO's broke it up.

Either way you're right, this kids future is gonna be a world of pain.

Only thing I'm curious about is if he will learn his lesson like I did. I never sold drugs again in my life but with pedo's, that's a completely different thing. I really think most are just born that way.

do you mind if me asking what you went to prison for? Also, how in the world did you get 200k for bail?! That's insane!

Drugs I think, can't be arsed reading it again, as BB loves to make a long post, but I am quite sure somewhere in there it says.

Straight out of your mama's basement.
:joke:

My mother's friend's son is currently living the lifestyle that you lived before you were arrested; he's growing, using, and distributing marijuana, and possibly other illicit substances, out of his mother's home. The problem with this, other than the obvious, is that his mother is an elementary school teacher, so if he gets arrested then he could ruin his mother's reputation. In addition to this, he brings eccentric characters (and by eccentric characters, I mean rapists and drug addicts) over to his house while his 10 year old cousin spends the night. They've already had numerous incidences where one of his friends went crazy and either robbed their house and stood outside of their house for several hours screaming.

Yeh, they had a field day cause of the area. Helicopter hovering 50 feet over the house, 8 men deep running up my lawn with rifles, then recklessly setting off flash grenades which wound up destroying a good amount of the evidence (which is why so many charges were dropped).

I did not get fed time though & it's a bit of a long story.

Only reason the feds got involved is I had a small charge when I was 16 for possession of homemade explosives. I had made 2 dynamite sticks. Me and my friends got drunk 1 night, were bored, & decided to blow up a port-a-jon. Right after we did it, I ran home. I later found out my friends got pulled over, a cop flashed his light in the back of his jeep and saw a keg. This led to a full search at which point they discovered the homemade dynamite. My friend called me up later that night saying, "I got pulled over and arrested, I can not take the charge for your shit. I'm already being charged for the keg and the cops know that bomb wasn't a firework". So I had to confess to making it and the next day the bomb squad came to my home with some detectives.

They told my parents about the controlled detonation they did, and how the bomb had enough power to take down a 4 story building (which was bs, the clone barely blew up a port-a-jon).

But that previous charge 3 years prior is what got the feds involved. They thought the whole house was booby trapped. At the same time, these idiots busted in the house setting off a series of flash grenades. So IF there was explosives in that house everyone would have died. I even said AFTER they raided the house and asked "is there any boobytraps". I responded, "if you really thought there were bombs in the house, WHY THE HELL would you set off FLASH GRENADES"? The agent kinda smirked then switched the topic.

So long story short, it was state time.

If it was me. I'd tell my son, "I'm calling the police if you don't show me where all the drugs are". Then I'd find the drugs, flush 90% of them down the toilet, and still call the police. This way he can get drug court trialed instead of going to prison, and this will force him into rehab.

I know how hard this is for parents to do. But when parents allow problems like this to persist, those problems escalate, and down the road the kids wind up getting charged for much more serious crimes. So every day she waits she is >>>enabling her son to become a better criminal and drug addict.

ps. My mother was also a teacher for 38 years. When I got arrested it didn't harm her reputation. What actually happened is the school supported her. They gave her resources. And she started attending meetings for incarcerated relatives. She also learned to adopt a 0 tolerance attitude towards drugs. Which helped me A LOT when I was released.

Sounds about right.

She's tried kicking him out a few times already, and he always comes back.

  • The first time, he was kicked out at 14 and was required to live with his biological father. His biological father then kicked him out because my mother's friend's son drugged his step-brother and got him sent to the hospital.
  • The second time, he was sent to live with his father again at 16. He was sent back when his father realised he was dealing cocaine at his high school.
  • The third time, he was kicked out at 18 and went to live with his friend. His friend kicked him out for an unknown reason and my mother's friend's son went back to live with his mother. He also came back with a girlfriend who he occasionally cheats on with prostitutes (he engages in coitus with said prostitutes inside of his bedroom, which is located next to his mother's bedroom).

I feel like telling his mother what you said. It sounds like him going to prison would make her and her other relatives' life better (with the exception of the "emotional turmoil" his mother may briefly experience from having a son in jail). Besides, I personally want to see him get arrested after he tried lighting me on fire when I was 13 (that wasn't the worst thing he did, either).
