I offer a gig on fiverr where I create some links (including adult sites are used sometimes) and today a buyer contacted me to remove their link from an adult site posted. I advised he that he can use the disavow tool but he is saying that he won't and I don't find a way to remove he will suit me for penalizing his site for 10,000 dollars using the argument that I have spammed his site. Can I be sued for this?

He's blowing smoke but as a service provider you may want to let people know that they may get those kinds of backlinks.

Yes, i've update the description.

There is a law against it?

10 000 $ o come on mate. There is a much more criminals and law breakers . Stay calm

No, definitely not. You won't be sued for this.

First of all, in which country will he sue you?
In which country you can find a law to sue people if Google hit your site?

This guy is just a big mouth guy.

He buy an adult site link or was a mistake?
If was a mistake, try to clean it. If he purchase and he thinks that those links was bad... it was his decision.

However, maybe he can go to Disneyland court and sue you or maybe in Secondlife court :p Not in the real life.

Tell him that the article 399 bis of the Constitution says that no Gig purchased on fiverr.com can be sued he he

I saw you live in Brazil, he will go to Brazil to start a legal fight against you??? Brazil laws does not have juridistion on fiverr.com

You client sounds like a people that try to blame you for the Google crazy updates!!

But he sound very unmature, maybe he is only 13teen tears old, poor guy!!

thats just imposible cant get sue for seo or negative seo

I think the guy is bluffing. I won't worry about it. I am sure there is no law for negative SEO in any country. Its not possible bro.

Suing for someone spamming his site? Wow, talk about your frivolous lawsuits. I think he is blowing smoke too and would be a moron to pay an attorney the money needed to even attempt to sue you. It's not illegal to backlink to someone's website and because it's not illegal Google started the whole disavowing tool. I wouldn't worry about it.

Agree with you. I think he should sue Google

I don't think you will be sued, but i will say this....don't think everyone online is bluffing cause some people will sue u just to make u the example.

Guys, there isn't needed a specific law article for "negative SEO". There are laws against damaging someone's business... However, it's less probable you'll be sued.

You can sue anybody for literally anything. It doesn't mean you'll win, but there are people out there who sue people for some really crazy stuff. If damages can be proven then a suit makes me nervous.

Yeah, it's called slander. Putting a link that says "Buy The Best Widgets in the world" on a site that happens to have images of some guy getting a blow job is not slander. Now, if the link says "Get The Best Blow Job From me" and it goes to the guy's site, then yeah...

It has nothing to do with slander, it is just not legal to intentionally damage someone property / business.

Of course it's got something to do with slander, as slander is the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation, same as defamation of character.

Don't be null and void about this,.he is trying to frightening you...

You don't be scared this is just a mistake not your motto..I guess so:)
