Tumblr Limits?

Looks like my 4 blogs are blocked so I can't follow anyone. I found that they have limit on 200 follows per day and 5000 follows total.

But I want to know something else, is that ban permanent or temporary? I will be able to follow people again?

Some guys contacted tumblr with success, but most were banned for good.

It does not make sense to follow people for the sake of following imho. Guys that follow you back because you follow them are just wasting time online. They are not interested in any purchase.

Much better to post content that will be liked and reblogged.

I still can log in and add content , like and everything, just can't follow.. I follow him to get some followers, later I won't. Wanted to get 1k followers on each blog(200-300 on each now) and I would stop following people.

One of my blogs was banned, with most followers one. I contacted support and they said:
" Hello,
We've restored your account.

Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention. We're sorry that it occurred, and we'll do our best to make sure that it doesn't happen again."


So, I can follow people now again, good it's not permanent ban. I will slow down now, maybe 70-100 follows from each blog daily..

5000 follows is the max limit for following for any blog. Just unfollow the ones who aren't following you and continue to follow again

You don;t need to follow peoples. Once your blog is into tumblr tag search it automatically started giving your followers. Try to reblog some big blog posts. and see the difference.

Honestly, don't waste your time following people. Post a ton of content. Tag appropriately. Grow organically.

Currently own around 10 blogs with around 40k~ followers, biggest one has 17k and gains 1.5k a month organically alone.
Once you get a few thousand followers direct all the traffic to the ones you want to grow more.

Plus people that follow you because they like your content are a lot more valuable than people who only check you out because you followed them.
Case being I get around 500k notes / month.

Do you use proxies or have 10 blogs on 1 IP ?

Just unfollow some with some bot you can use xtumblebot or followliker

Holy sh!t what just happened, I have 4 blogs and second blog I made is so poor. Had about 200 followers, now I logged in and see new 290 followers and 2000 notes (usually have up to 150 notes daily)... Wtw just happend? One of my pics have 400 notes :S

I just checked and almost all reblogs of picture come from same guy who reblogged that pic. Can i check how much followers he have?
