i dont know.. bud my churn burn sites got dropped like 22/50 spots couple days ago its like jumping around. and after today they got back on the same spot again. i think its still work.. bud you will never know untill you try your self ;p
It also depends on the quality of the websites.. i think...
i have seen alot of my competitions got kicked of there spots haha <3
my churn and burn sites are 6+ month old domains and got more than one quality pages.
MAYBE MAYBE I DONT FREAKING KNOW, bud al my website got linked to facebookfanpage,google+
And also got alot of social singals added every single day. maybe this counts I DONT KNOW
FUCK GOOGLE the think i hate about seo its that google is the boss and he can kick you really hard and all your earnigs are gone.
Thats why going to switch to buying traffic and train myself en explore more about it.

My sites have not really tanked. I think only 3 of them tanked, out of the many I have.

I don't think It will stop working (or stop being "good"), but sites will get executed when updates roll around. Just gotta test the waters after each beheading.
As everyone else says, blah blah blah, don't put all your eggs In one basket. For example I make a good amount of money selling my own products and services, and It relies 0% on Google search traffic. Google genocide roles around, some of my sites get tanked, I still have Income rolling In.

It takes longer to rank with new domains, but I'm sure it still works.
