Automated tweets based on keywords???

Hey guys so I just sent a tweet to my friend about football. In my tweet I had the word "WR". As soon I sent the tweet I got an automated tweet from an account saying


"u tweeted the N*F*L word of today wr ur getting a jersey of ur fav player Claim here @_GetJersey_"


This guy has generated more then 9k clicks on his bit.ly link and increasing rapidly in just one day.


My question is does anyone know what tool he is using?

Wait, was it a retweet with your handle, or was it a direct message. That reply just sounds like a DM, so just wondering.

You can't send a direct message to people that aren't following you back as far as I know.

Well that's true, but all you have to do is follow someone for them to message you. So he might have been following, was just asking.

He's using a twitter bot that auto replies to certain keywords. Followliker is one of them

Back in 2011 I used to do this via Yahoo Pipes. Though, I completely forgot the method.

hey guys sorry I haven't responded the auto reply was a regular tweet not a DM that was instantly sent. I did some searching and they had like 12 of these accounts going at once

Your correct! seems like a very powerful tool he was getting about 50 clicks per minute on his bit,ly if not more and then sending them to a website where people were opting in he had 10k+ clicks it was insane!
