tier 1 web 2.0 what should be tier 2 ?

Hey fellas , i am using web2.0 for my tier what should be the tier 2 ? can i use press release and articles directories as the 2nd tier ?actually this is what i did the site i was working on is on the 1st page for my targeted keyword but its stuck at #7 i want it to be in top3 , i have already started building links to couple of my tier 1 web2.0's using scrapebox which i guess was wrong i should have blasted my 2nd tier with scrapebox :S ,

go with gsa blast, blog comments , social bookmarks for tier 2. Tier 1 doesn't really mean only web 2.0 you can make other backlinks in tier 1 too.

For tier 1 I use - web 2.0 (blogspot, wordpress etc..), other web 2.0 like youtube, facebook pages etc.., high PR bookmarks.. In short must be quality..
For tier 2 - almost the same, web 2.0(blogspot, wordpress etc..), bookmark blast, wiki blast etc..

yep.. for tier 1 do it slowly if you have a fresh domain..
Do more on tier 2 but don't forget quality.. In tier 2 honestly I avoid blog comments..

ok here is what i do tier 1 = 10 web 2.0 with 2 unique articles 400ea with unique images and one video .. tier 2 = 5 press release with unique content 500ea on every web 2.0 (so that makes up 50 unique hand written press release to tier 1 ) then 1 articles 300-400 words on each web 2.0 (so that makes up 10 articles ) 100 bookmark on each web2.0 with manually spin tittle and descriptions (so that makes up 1000 social bookmarks to web 2.0) and now i am hitting them with scrapebox comments with generic anchors to add a little diversity

Add some private network links to your money site other than the web 2.0's. That should help you to boost to the top 3.

You can do blog commenting related to the niche, sharing photos sites and try automatic tools for tier 3.

It all works as long as you keep anchor text under control, and do it at a slowish pace.

You can still get penalized, so treat these carefully as well. However tier 2 links can be non contextual like blog comments, profiles etc.

You can go for forum profiles, social bookmarking, directory submission , etc as tier 2 backlinks.

Apart from this you can build social references which acts as backlink validators, so the domain gets shared on FB, Twitter and Google plus and variety of other social platforms to show more natural viral behaviour along with organic backlinks which are being built.
