hey all :)
so i'd like to know what pinterest is using to detect the following rate per hour , i can follow 300 per hour but thats not enough for me *.* i want more , are they using ip detection ? (so if i change my ip i can follow more) , or cookies or access tokens (if yes how to get it) ?

the problem is i have 5 accounts , so when i follow 300 using the first account i can't follow more with the other accounts !

You can't bypass the follow limit smh....What were you thinking when you made this thread op?

They're probably using ip detection. So if you're following too many people from one ip (no matter which account), you'll hit a limit on all accounts. You should use private proxies and a clean browser for every proxy, meaning: clear your cookies and history before logging in with a different account and proxy. I think Chrome has an option to automatically create a fresh browser every time you restart it.

It dont matter if you change the ip or use a proxy noob, You will still get limited!Where the hell do you people come from?

Calm your tits. Of course you'll get limited. What I am saying is that perhaps they have a global limit for an ip, which if you go over, you cannot post anything on any account using the same ip, which is what the OP is experiencing. But I'm just guessing here.

When you reach the account limit, just switch account and proxy, that works for me, the other thing you can do is just start doing another task, you can follow 300, then start re-pins, comments, or even follow only boards switch account and start again :D

You could try these things but in the end you'll be limited. Can't really bypass.

Just do 150 per hour, I do this way and for about 12 hours followed 1800+ with no limits, using bot ofc..

Pretty much.

I believe that they limit on the account level, meaning, there is a unique ID associated with your account when you authenticate with the Pinterest services and once you have reached your engagement limits, your account is done.

As for the IP detection, in todays state of un-secured open wifi access points, free wifi in coffee shops, shared internet in apartment buildings and what not, Pinterest would not use this method because they know that some of their users will be 'improperly' limited due to genuine traffic.

What's the point to follow 1800+ people in 12 hours? Can you explain me?
EDIT: If that's 1800+ for one account, otherwise I get it :)

I am surprised you're still operating at 300/day. They may let that fly at first, depening on your region/account (I had an account on Texas-based VPN that was able to follow 1000/day for 3 months, but then they ratcheted me down). You should be careful. The ban-wars are on right now at Pinterest, and their mods are unsympathetic and cold most of the time.

My advice, 3 steps:

1 - Multiple accounts.
2 - Verify websites, make them look very legit
3 - Post using a Pinterest API/custom program,... NOT with a bot or browser bot (or any bot that tries to simulate a browser)

If you do bot, use PinBlaster PRO by Vlad, as it's the only one capable of working with all major proxy providers (least the one's I've tried) and also most major VPN providers.

I personally own 2 PinBlaster PRO licenses and I rock them both on VmWare virtual machines overlayedo n my Win7 Pro x64 system, 24/7... running Private Internet Access VPN from each Vmware instance, and I've never had a problem. Pinterest has definitely stepped me WAYYYY down from time to time, and sometimes will only let me post 35 pins per 24 hour block, BUT... not been banned yet.

For those in the Pinterest game right now, keep super low profile, and pin occasionally from your mobile device if you can swing that manual action. Keeps the algorithm on their side guessing - (purely anecdaotal guess on my part, but I've seen my pinning limit raised several times after pinning from my iPhone app)

Cheers

No i split that 1800 to my 209553 accounts..

Now I am pushing it a lill bit so I follow 300 per hour instead of 150... Still not blocked..

Use proxy if you don't want to get banned. They all are watching!

Most of the stuff that gets posted will be ghosted anyways.

Way too much troubles now for little resutls. Well at least for me...

To follow the rules is the best way to make the life easy in social media marketing. Bypass limits is not a good option.

Always use Proxy at Pinterest. I worked hard on Pinterest lot of account got banned. Now i' using selfcoded stuff and all of them work perfectly.
5 Accounts all of them have 3000 Followers so a total of 15000 Followers. My Main account doing a Pin and 4 Accounts repin this Pin. So i get 4 Repins instantly. I follow about 600 People using 5 Accounts so total of 3000 People.

Hope to grow all my Accounts to 10k followers.
