Why did you say avoid the east? Also, i will be travelling/staying in Betzigau for few days.

Did you spend at least a few weeks there and travelled around so that you get to know the culture? If not, you are not in the position to judge over a country or its population, especially if you are making such offensive generalizations.
I dont like France and most of its people. But i can say it because i spend there a few months, got the country and its people to know so I am in the position to have an opinion about that. Also, I state this only as my opinion, not as a fact, because that would be a prejudgement.
Again, I am living here as a foreigner for 20 years and never was I nor one of my friends attacked by a knife or a neonazi. Yes you have neonazis, but usually you find them in the East in small cities or villages and for each neonazi there are about 1000 people who will fuck them up. Whenever neonazis plan to do a protest or something, they are badly outnumbered. So dont say that Germans are against foreigners and will attack them, because neonazis are nothing more than a minority which is not tolerated by the rest of the population.

Do not drive car in Munich, it is really annoying, especially since they have some major works going on. I was stuck 30 minute in a freaking tunnel. Bought a huge bottle of beer there (it was 2-3 litters, something like that). Beer was great and lady in the story was speaking perfect English. Too bad I cannot remember the name of the beer.

P.S. Allianz arena (if you like football) is totally outside of the city , but looks great. In this case it is good to have car cause it is far away but right next to the highway

The beer is great, the girls are fun and since I am a New Yorker I didn't find the people rude. If you are from Alabama or Arkansas you might find them rude but get used to it. You can have a great time in Munich if you get away from the big tourist spots which are drastically overpriced.

Yes, everyone knows that, Nazi Salute is not Nice. You can get arrested and fined heavily for such kind of thing.

The Company provides me a transport vehicle with a driver. But I heard the Rail network is really good in Germany, can anyone tell me more about this.

THe train system is very good, but also expensive. Sometimes its cheaper to take a flight than drive with the train lol. I heard of an train ticket for internationals that costs 350€ and gives 10 days of free train travelling through whole Europe (or just the EU, idont remember).

Don't worry about your German because most people in Germany can speak English. The beer is really graet, and i can recommend Krombacher, Warsteiner, Edinger and Paulaner. If you like dark beer you you should try local (Munich) Spaten Dunkel.They also produce some beer drinks like Radler and Alster (mixed with soft drinks).

Every German is an individual. There is no such thing as "Germans are this or that". Some are kind, others are rude. Some are communists, others are nazis. There are certain areas in big cities you may want to avoid just like in any other big city around the globe.
Germany has a lot of culture and history. If you go to Munich check out their Museums. This should keep you busy for 2 weeks. Visit castles and the Alps. Most tourists and Germans love them. Other than that be aware Munich is very expensive of a city.

Trains are on time and acceptable. The ICC is very good for long distance trips. However, most inner city trains really lack coverage of some areas and their time tables are very limited. Imho, trains just work for people who plan all of their transport ahead of time.

Was in Dusseldorf and in nearby towns several times on business. Overall Germans are ok, can't say nothing bad of them, enjoyed to work with them on some projects.
Beer (lager) is good, food is simple but good too. Even if you don't speak neither Deutsch nor English you'll find a way around. Empty streets after dark - only cars on the roads, people mostly stay at home. Still felt pretty much safe walking around. I'd more afraid not neonazi, but immigrants, but I'm white, might be different for not whites, I dunno.
Side note: don't expect 100% punctuality which is often associated with German people. I've once all but missed a plane because ICE Express train was 3 hours late.

Try to go a little bit outside of Munich too. The countryside is just beautiful!

Guten Abend!
Hope, i typed right!Its my first time to Germany- Munich. Do Germans speak proper english and like people who speak in english with them?
P.S I heard German people are rude, sorry do not want to offend any one, some friends in the US said that.
I wouldn't say they speak "proper" english. Most young people speak good english (depending on their educational background) but older people most likely don't speak english at all.
And I wouldn't say are rude but for sure not as friendly as in the US.
