BitCoin and Cryptocurrencies - Will they fail? My 3 Predictions!

Sounds unstable to me, I can't quite comprehend it being a successful way to trade without being at a risk of losing out at some point. Then again that's just me.

Growth pains, that is all. As the market matures the volatility may calm down a bit. I would not be surprised either if the bankers are trying to create all this madness to try and tarnish the Bitcoin image.

That would not surprise me one bit!

My friend just started week ago and reported today that he earned like 30 bucks or so.
I dont know how much energy he wasted though

Agreed
i saw this on their update
"At this time BitShares X has already had its snapshot taken (Feb 28th, 2014) and I am in the process of making that snapshot liquid with a chain that allows trading of shares and testing of the TaPOS system.

when someone says they are working on making it cash it sends alarm bells, surely

no one creates a monster site without first having thought about how they get the cash out. Seems like the cartoon posted earlier is really true.

Bitcoin prices might fluctuate for now but once the infrastructure is set up, the prices will begin to stabilize and that is when true adoption happens. Bitcoin is barely at its infancy stage right now, basically the internet during the 1980s.

Sorry for bumping this old thread but I suppose it is time to admit ...

... I WAS WRONG ! ...

... at least in my initial assessment.

Yes, my position has changed (for the time being)

Well, you can admit it. Many can't. That says a lot about your character.

We're all wrong at times, but those who step up and admit it can move forward. Best of luck in your future endeavors!

You are 100% right. Recently Russia has banned BTC. This is not the first time they banned BTC.

I didn't see you putting a date on when cryptos will hit the dirt, so you can't be wrong at least for now. A lot of us have missed out in the fun of cryptos because of our skepticism, but they are valid still.

Cryptos are presently in an hiatus and concerns will continue to rise. But per usage concerns, they appear to be standing strong and will be in the near future. Past that, and I wouldn't hold my cards up.

I'm a bit shady with cryptocurrencies. Everything has a peak time, then a downfall. I just can't picture Bitcoin going any further. I can see if it was a tangible item... but for being digital, I don't think so.

i think cryptos will suffer in the short term but in the long term they are a very good ivnestment

Bitcoin is where it's at.

Though, 200% isn't bad

the value goes up and down, same as with every other currency. btc is already banned in china, but it doesnt mean it will crash. paypal forbidden btc trade before, now they changed their minds.

I think bitcoin will do great in the future. In my opinion besides anonymity it's a viable option for exchanging currency with those in another country. My prediction is the price will continue to rise.

I would have never thought 2014 would be as bad of a year for Bitcoin as it has been. Newbies, do your due diligence before investing your money in cryptocurrencies. Time your market entry properly..

Some analysts have theorized that with the improvement in exchanging BTC recently announced (such as Paypal advising they will be using Bitcoin) many currency holders took the opportunity to do a bit of profit taking. Not a dent in its long term value at all, many holders simply saw a window and took advantage of it.
